I can't use my season tix tomorrow night. My tix have been on stubhub and they're not selling. I'd rather give them away to someone here then sell them for less than face and get next to nothing after the stubhub fees. If anyone wants them shoot me a PM. I can have the tix printed and waiting for you at the will call box office. Jeags and JP can vouch that my seats are money.

First come first serve. Enjoy bitches

So yeah, Temple fucked it up again. Big surprise. :x

Towson Tigers are 2-0 after whooping nova's ass two weeks ago. Already a better season than last year. They play Maryland in two weeks. And LSU is on the schedule in 2012. They will get smoked in both of those games, but their program seems to be on the up (finally).

most boring 2 weeks of baseball ever. 10/1 cannot get here soon enough.

    :

for real. I turned the game on in the 8th. I had never even heard of the phils catcher. And I follow this organization at every level. Felt like I was watching a spring training game.

Agreed man, that was exactly my problem with it, barely and pumpkin flavor in it this year. Very disappointing.

in addition...before they played the movie the guy from the troc who introduced it said pj emailed them (kelly curtis i guess?) and told him to tell us philly is pearl jam's #1 market when it comes to album sales and ticket sales. and troc was the first show in the world to sell out.

god bless this band. god bless this city. go phils!

Dude, that's pretty awesome. The Baltimore theatre was tiny. I'd guess there were only 150 seats or so.

Cameron Crowe did a fantastic job. I am definitely hitting a Franklin Institute show this weekend.

My summary...god damn that was awesome. Not to sound corny, but looking back at when the PJ albums were released takes me back to certain points in my life. Pretty fucking cool to think about how I've grown up with this band. That movie was kind of a timeline for me that started with my teenage years. I loved every second of it.

I bet the Troc was awesome. Wish I could have seen it there.

Yea I know the Troc was sold out fast - that's why I didn't go. Weekend will work out better I think.

Hope the boyz come back soon.

Still not sold on the $70 bluray. I'll wait for reviews from one of you clowns.

I had already gotten free tixx last night. That game blew. At least the weather was perfect. WTF is wrong with Pence? Arrgh.

Apparently we're one of only 6 cities with a week-long theatre run of PJ20, so yeah that's what we're talking about while we sit around waiting for the playoffs to start.

This is the de facto "all things Philly" thread. I think petrocs should change the name to "Phillies & All Things Phila. Thread".
