Yep. And a b-ball season ticket holder. We have the worst fans of any all-time top 10 in wins college b-ball program. Oh well - the team is fun to watch.
Jp, if you get this the ferry line is retarded long. Might hang out at Penns landing. Also hearing the wind is fucking everything up.
As far as the ferry line, I saw that one coming a mile away. It takes a helluvan event to make it worth going to Camden and braving the line for that ferry.
I also can't believe Nellybabes was the voice of reason.
Nice job of Chooch & Valdez picking up Doc's 17th win tonight.

Nice win tonight even though I'm in OC MD and can't watch. Another hr for R6 and doc is doc, sucks my buddy called me and had an extra but I couldn't make it,damn vacation.

Dave and busters outside bar was the spot for today. Good view, lots of booze and horrible food.
good call on that. I'm not continuing at swift half piazza with some lagunitas
Dude, that is where we ended up watching the Phillies game and I was most definitely drinking Lagunitas IPA. Thats funny. That was quite possibly the day load of all day loads. Dave and Busters, National Mechanics for some reason, Swift half, Liberties, some house party then Delilahs. Fuck me.

Yeah, this was longer than any ferry line ever. The line to get tickets was basically to Old City. I heard it was taking people 3 hours. I can't imagine how awful it was trying to get back. Staying in PA was the best idea ever.

HA! Don't know if it was you but I was definitely acknowledged for my PJ Phils shirt coming out of the commode. I was a mess by that time. We made our way over to PYT for probably the greatest burgee and milkshake combination I ever had in my life followed by making out with some chick with massive bossoms who was definitely not wearing a bra.

No, I think Dunphy's done a great job. The first year was rebuilding, and the 2nd & 3rd years they were lucky to win the A-10 and were overmatched in the tourney. The home games actually have gotten a little boring, since they blow everyone out. It's more interesting to watch the competitive road games on TV.
Last year they were ripped off, should've been a 3 or 4 seed. And they were paired up with the rightful 6-9 seed Cornell. That team was sick and I don't think Temple had any shame in losing to that team. Playing in the A-10, it's just hard to get any respect from the committee dudes. They seem to seed as much on past years' performance as the current year. Maybe Temple will start to get the benefit of the doubt in the coming seasons.
Bottom line, he has clearly picked the program up off the ground and put it in its rightful place among the elite. Sorry for all the college hoops talk in Sept everyone else.

Old news here, but I looked this up and Kendrick got 6 swinging strikes in 74 pitches. Worley had 6 swinging strikes in 76 pitches yesterday. Ok, maybe that's not the answer.

i think kendrick's next start is against the mets. he usually does well against them. wouldn't be surprised if he's on the mound instead of sally jesse raphael.
just some random stuff after reading through the message board shitstorm from the weekend
1 - PJHawks, you complain and take more personal cheap shots than anyone. I could give you my athletic resume, but it doesn't matter. This is a message board, no one gives a fuck
2 - Thanks to cliff and JP for injecting some voice of reason and getting my back
3 - I don't try to intentionally annoy anyone with my comments. It's just tough to read the nonsense on this board sometimes (especially the ryan howard cock sucking). I just tell it like it is
4 - cliff, you live over in Northern Libs? I used to live on 5th and Poplar. Miss those days
5 - phils are playing well. offense still isn't hitting on all cylinders, but has shown signs of life. Still a lot of work to do to wrap up a playoff spot, but they are in much better shape than they were 2 weeks ago.

was reading today that the phils 5th starter should only have 4 starts the rest of the season. Kendrick, worley, robertson...I don't think it matters, they all blow.
Of course as the rotation lines up now I will get a kendrick game with one of my 2 remaining games this season (oswalt vs atlanta is the other, which is money).
I think charlie manuel is a dufus, but gotta give him (or probably dubee) credit for lining up the phils pitchers the rest of the way. 6 games vs atlanta and the phils will have halladay, hamels, and oswalt pitching all 6 games. braves aren't as fortunate...they don't have their horses (jurrjens, hanson, hudson) lined up for those 2 series.

i think kendrick's next start is against the mets. he usually does well against them. wouldn't be surprised if he's on the mound instead of sally jesse raphael.
Still a lot of work to do to wrap up a playoff spot, but they are in much better shape than they were 2 weeks ago.
saw that...if I were werth, that's exactly who I'd want negotiating for me
someone is gonna give werth wayyy too much money
was reading today that the phils 5th starter should only have 4 starts the rest of the season.
I cant stand these idiots
Im starting to sound like Fixer
