lets try to at least split this weekend and take this series. the schedule through august is pretty favorable for us.
trade for myers. call up the kid. hold on to most of your prospects. bang done.
werth may be starting to come out of his slump. ibanez is actually swinging the bat well lately. we can still make a run for this gentlemen...lot of baseball yet to be played.
Wow roughed up one of the best pitchers today. Great win and our hitting seems to be back. Maybe getting rid of Milt was for the best. I like Greg Gross too so hopefully they continue to hit, lets go for the sweep tomorrow!
Too bad bad the Braves keep on winning, on the bright side Mets lost again

only way i am trading werth at this point is if i am getting another bat in return.
apparently the oswalt thing is still in the mix.
i think i'd still rather myers due to the lower cost....and we can throw him in the pen if need be. fucking lidge...
you gentlemen got your brooms handy? i'll say it again--this schedule coming up is real favorable. i think we're in the beginning of a 15 out of 20-ish (that's a big ish) run...
I have a good feeling were gonna go an a good run here and make up some serious ground. Coming home has to help this team out. Doc tonight, tomorrow kk will suprise us all and out duel jimenez. Then Happ I don't know why but I feel a run.
Well that Werth RBI double was pretty shocking yesterday. Maybe that'll get him going. Jiminez has definitely faded from his first half self.
I just don't want Wade, er, Amaro (I legitimately made this Freudian slip earlier today) to make another stupid trade.
Looks like it got him going, about time are off is waking up. Very nice to see Happ prove people wrong and pitch solid in his return. If we somehow get Oswalt,Happ will surely be the mlb ready pitcher they'll want. I doubt Werth gets traded inless something to good be to true comes are way. Like i've said before i like Happ alot and would be happy to see him be what he would have been this year had he not got hurt, which is are #3 pitcher. I know about how stats say he was lucky last year cause of balls put in play, but good pitchers find ways to get u out when they don't have over powering stuff. If we don't make a big pitching trade, with Happ not havn alot of innings on his arm this season if feel good with Doc,Hamels,Happ as are top 3. Here's to keeping this run going,GO PHILS!!!
I didn't think happ looked good on Saturday. He is average at best...id include him in any trade for a pitcher. And he was topping out at 91-92, which proves that philly.com article that had him hitting 95 was complete bullshit. The philly papers have become a joke
Myers isn't gonna come cheap either. Stros have an affordable option on him for next year, so they're leaning towards keeping him
see, i think i'd have blanton stay in and bunt in this situation. according to gamecast he looks pretty good today....lay one down and then let the top the line up knock em in...
Howards was a strike and gloads was a ball. Gotta love horrible unpires.
True. I've always thought jim wolf has been terrible. When his brother played here he used to always screw the phils. He squeezed blanton a few times today
First time all year manuel didn't leave blanton in too long
Ken rosenthal is reporting oswalt is not interested in coming to philly. Talk about a PUSSY
While I do agree that it's pretty weak, he did work hard to get the no trade clause for this exact reason. He has always said he is not interested in pitching on the east coast, so I am not at all suprised.
I heard that is 8 in a row at home, the most since 1991!

I thought that is what I heard. I was listening to some of the game in my car during lunch and I'm pretty sure that's what they said.

bullpen better not blow it.
i brought my broom to work.
Let's hope rollins comes out into the field. I think he's really hurt
what happened to him? it looks like he is out there.
He fouled a ball off of his foot a few innings ago. He's been limping ever since. They showed him in dugout after his last AB with his foot elevated.
So happy its back
fuck it...we're winning this division...again.
don't screw it up amaro.

still not convinced we'd have to....at least all of it.
either way--f him.
