  • It’s a pretty good one. Kind of a Tarantino type flick. Director also did some horror type movies, High Rise and In the Earth.

More of a fun simply disturbing movie. I only had to cover my eyes once. Not an intense plot, but a wild trip neverthelesssss. Pulled it off the shelf in my library. Isn't that how the kids are doing it these days?

This is one of my favourite horror movies of all time! It is actually the first and only horror that gave me a nightmare, lol. I was about 7 years old when I saw it, and it left a huge impression. Also, parts of it were filmed in Vancouver. :) I watch it every couple of years and it never gets old for me.
Never heard of this version. At first I thought it was The Changeling from about 20 years ago. Good movie, but really sad. Was a true story that took place near Riverside, California. When the movie came out people would drive by the real house and I think I remember hearing the people who lived there at the time had no idea dozens of kids were molested and murdered at their home in the 20s. Imagine finding that out after you've lived there a long time.

Yeah I usually like Alex Garland’s stuff (director), but I don’t think I can watch that one.

^ trailer looks so desperate, … gonna enjoy rest of this year and hope pj tour/album gets underway asap… back end of next year gonna be hairy …. I’m surprised Kirsten Dunst & her husband involved, they are good actors

who knows maybe I’m wrong, but I think maybe if it came out any other year it wouldn’t invoke this reaction in me… it’s pandering at very least

Man, haven’t seen that one in at least 20 years. Still good?  It’s got a stacked cast of character actors.

African Queen here in USA. Great movie!

  • Watched this one again tonight. One of my favorites. I still remember in the theater when Bud White snaps the chair back during the interrogation. Intense.
