    Seven Psychopaths (2012)

Haven’t watched it in quite a few years.  Still darkly funny.

I enjoyed it more than I was expecting to, it didn't feel like a 3+ hour movie to me. Joe Pesci was great in it.

Great cast. Well done. Infuriating story but I enjoyed it.

It’s a simple plot, beautifully shot... saw it in Dolby Cinema, didn’t disappoint

not too many WW1 films... WW2 mostly
We recently watched a WW1 movie, Joyeux Noel.  I think it's my new favorite Christmas movie.

    Money Monster

The very beginning is a bit rough because the absurdity of the TV show the film is based around doesn't fit with the casting of George Clooney at all IMO, plus is just a bit too absurd in general. However, that problem goes away pretty quickly as the movie progresses, and soon you end up with a story that you really really want to see play out, which in my book makes it a successful story. Plus it gives you a quick genuine chuckle at the end. Not a bad movie at all.

“Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool“  I loved this documentary.
And after the screening there was a post-film discussion. “Host Michael Hill, the director and producer Stanley Nelson along with legendary producer James Mtume, rising jazz superstars Keyon Harrold and Angeleisha Trumptess Rogers, drummer and nephew of Miles Davis,”
