Awesome. I may be a part of that crowd tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get the phone call this morning.

I'm going to the Phillies game tonight

Of course when I committed to the tickets I didn't know the schedule of the Flyers Playoff Games !

Knuble is hell to move in front of the net

Of course he wont take a run at your goalie though ;)

Wanted the Moyer bobblehead huh??? :)

I'm sure they'll show the score on the scoreboard... I was there last week for the Mets game on Sunday night and they kept flashing up the score of the Sixers/Pistons game.... or you could just sit in McFaddens and watch the Flyers game.

Our PP is non-existent. If I was the Flyers I wouldn't worry about taking penalties either ;)

Yeah that's the giveaway.. hopefully I'll pick up a few from my buddy who works down at the park, so I can sell them on EBay ;)

If I was a Habs fan, I would be worried about Price. Just from his comments the last few days (as well as his play), he just seems too nonchalent and unfocused on HIS play. He's made comments like "we outplayed them for 2 periods" and "the score would have been 8-4 if we would have buried our chances"... seems like he's looking more at the guys in front of him to step up and make up for his lacklusted play then taking responsibility for his weak play as of late and working to correct it. If I'm Guy, I think I almost have to start Halak, but that may screw Price up for awhile (being 20 and all).

You're right and you're wrong. Price is ALWAYS non-chalant in appearance in both his interviews and his play, even when he's hot. His quote from today puts the blame squarely on his own shoulders...
""It's the NHL playoffs, I'm 20 years old, I'm finding it out the hard way that playoffs aren't easy," Price shrugged. "It's better to find out now than it is to find out at 30.""

But yeah, the Habs fans are worried about his play, and rightly so. There's no way he isn't thinking about working harder and playing better, but that doesn't mean it is going to work out that way.

I'll take your word for it and I do remember alot of talk about his non chalant style but still quotes like this are scary... almost like he feels they deserve to win no matter what... "The last series, things went great. Things went sour. We came out on top. It's kind of the exact same thing, only we're playing better than the last series."

I think he just means the team played well enough to win. He is pretty down to earth and well aware of his play and the team's situation, so I think to say he expects to win no matter what is too much of a stretch.
Like I said yesterday, a goal is a goal and a win is a win, whether you score from the slot or win 2-0 on two goals shot from your own end. I know it, you know it, and I guarantee you he knows it. Can he turn it around (again)? We'll see.
I can guarantee you something else - there'll be no 3-1 series comeback. I'll make a prediction that whoever wins tonight will win the series (obviously that's a no brainer if you guys win).

Marty Biron Should Be Nominated For President After Tonight. Marty Has Single Handley Won These Games For The Flyers.

Martin Biron is certainly reviving memories of another Flyer goaltender from the province of Quebec. And no, I wasn't refering to Michel Belhemeur. I'm in no way saying the story will end like it did in 73-74 and 74-75, Kreskin I ain't, but I'm astounded by Biron's performance thus far. Danny Briere said it best on Versus after the game when he said that Biron is playing so well and with such great positioning that great chances almost look like routine stops.

Kudos too to R.J. Umberger. 13 goals during the regular season. Already seven in the playoffs.

Last, kudos to Danny Briere and Vinny Prospal for not burying their heads after being on ice for 2 goals against in 37 seconds. Great work on the power play after Begin lost the plot and drilled Sami Kapanen. Thankfully Kappy missed the open door and the corner of the door.

Now if Philly will only not scare me to death and will play well with a lead.

I'm going to start hoping we don't get 2 goal leads anymore. Nonetheless, they pulled it out again.

I think Biron has answered those questions about him being able to play in the playoffs.

    Actually 9 more wins :)

That's it 9 more wins starting in Montreal on Saturday....

This team has rallied again and again and not gotten down on themselves at all in the playoffs, its great. And Marty Biron should be the MVP of the playoffs right now, he is single handedly willing the Flyers further and further.

Let's wrap this series up and get ready for the Pens or Rangers (most likely the Pens). That would be a hell of a series... the team who lost the final game of the season to avoid us, would have to play us to advance to the Cup...... gotta love it.

    Unbelievable !!

I didn't see the game obviously being at the Phillies game...but they had the game on at Harry the K's

Everytime we scored a big cheer in that section....then the score was shown on the Scoreboard and the crowd went into "Let's Go Flyers" chant it was awesome

Hopefully this team learned about closing out a series

Any fan of any team can look at the tsn comments and be infuriated in 3 seconds.
Ironically some of those comments have already been used by Flyers fans.

I think they give him an honest shot to make the club next year but he'll most likely play with the Phantoms. not because he's not talented enough but I think a year or even half a season in the minors would be a better transition to the NHL... much like Richards and Carter and unlike what happened with Zubrus.
