1.5 Games up...3 to go...anyone else nervous after the last 2 games?
yes I am nervous - it seems to me like the last 2 games they have choked a bit by making bad and stupid plays. Misplaying balls, base running mistakes just bad baseball. the positives are the Marlins hate the Mets and will do everything they can to spoil it for them. the Mets losing (choking) last night was HUGE - such a big difference between 1/2 and 1 1/2 at this point. one negative could be the weather this weekend - there could be double-headers all over the place if these teams can't play thursday and friday. thankfully the Phils don't play today.

I hope Howard is taking this off day and practicing his throws to 2nd base.... I believe he is 1 for 4 (better than his batting average??? ) making that throw and the one last night helped keep a big inning going.

My mom's family is from Boston (when they first moved to this country) so I spent my summers there. I can't help it I'm both a Red Sox and Phillies fan.
