So ya think they let Coste go next year and bring up Marson? Or do you think he's at least another year away from coming up?

I agree - Hamels better show some heart on wednesday. Enough of giving up 3 runs on home runs and complaining about no support. Shut them the fuck down and not worry about. Gotta think Milwaukee has the hangover like the Phils did last year and are done before they wake up. It's all about Braun and Fielder on their offense and without Sheets their starting rotation will suck minus Sabathia. Can't wait. Cubs-Phils NLCS would be awesome.

Hamels is a pussy. I'm sorry, but he is. He better grow some balls quick.

Obviously you guys are so much better than we are and our staff sucks, and you have the greatest MVP ever in Ryan Howard, and Chase Utley is the greatest, and J-Roll is just so fantastic. The team is focused, and they aren't going to let some crappy team from the (Mid)West roll them this year, and so on. BUT
Do you even know who Yovanni Gallardo is? If you don't you will after Wednesday, he's freaking nasty, tore his ACL in May, and came back last week throwing a 95 mph heater, 83 mph hook, and a 78 mph change...kinda like a new version of Pedro Martinez. You get him in game 1, then CC in 2. Still it's going to be easy for you, b/c our staff sucks without Ben Sheets.

Yeah, two pitchers is all you got? That's what you're coming in here with? CC will see one game at the most, and Yovanni didn't go too far in that game from what I recall and your legs have a lot to do with the drive in that fastball. I like you put all your faith in TWO pitchers. One on 3 days rest 4 times in a row and the other who is still injury prone. Good wishful thinking I guess. Again, prepared to get fucked.

I'll take our stellar lineup, nasty bullpen, and our 3 man at the top of the rotation over yours ANY day. Good luck pitching Suppan to keep from getting swept.

One more thing Phils/Brewers series: 5-1. Thank you for coming, now get the fuck out.

Yes b/c Brad Lidge has been so good in the playoffs...no really you guys are good...i just think it's funny that you think we have NO chance. And yes your lineup is stellar, in that softball field you call a ballpark...what a joke. Anyway our bullpen has turned it around a bit, and Dave Bush has been very good at home historically, and Suppan has been good in the playoffs (huge game against the Cubbies on Friday) so it's not out of the realm of possibility that this team could give you trouble.

In the end what I hate about the Phillies is that they have a bunch of good players that their fans think are better than they are and their haters think are worse than they are. So when J-Roll wins MVPs when he's like the 3rd best SS in the NL, or when Howard wins it this year when he's no better than Prince Fielder in the field, and not really outstanding at the plate we hate it, but you all can point at the fact that they put up good numbers. It's like you got a bunch of Derek Jeter's which would make me confident too I guess. Either way can't wait for Wednesday.

We got here without him, so I don't see how it's that big a deal in the short term. It's just sad he doesn't get to pitch after playing on so many crappy teams. Stupid Ned Yost pitching him 266 innings in 2005 was his demise.

Once again that was 5-1 not going against Gallardo and Sabathia, let's give this a shot. Look I accept that you will probably win, but like the Mets, Phils fans are living in fear of a repeat of last year, while the crew is just trying to do what they can with no precedent or depressed fan base to hold them back.

Wont happen...wont happen...wont happen..there will be no repeat of last year...keep praying for that miracle but your team backed in to the playoffs you're only there for coffee and a donut

hahaha...crazy things happen in the playoffs when young kids are involved like Jarret Wright and Josh Beckett. Anyway if you go down 0-1 and have to face C.C. in game 2 what will you thinking then? It's baseball weird things happen to determine single games..just saying.

In fear? I don't think so, bro. I'm a lot more confident this year than last. If anything, you're in the exact same place we were last year - glad just to get in.

well yeah but I didn't say it would be easy. Howard won an MVP and is a candidate this year (but i don't think he should get it), Rollins is the reigning MVP and Gold Glover, Chase is a flat out stud hitter when healthy (that is the question now). I think our lineup has more depth. The comment about your rotation had to do with Sheets being out. Not having your #2 pitcher in the playoff is a huge deal. I don't think there is any question the Phils are favored in this series based on these factors including playoff experience.

fair enough, but just b/c our young core hasn't been in the playoffs doesn't mean we don't have experience. CC, Suppan, Gagne, Mota, and I think Shouse have been, as has Kendall, Durham, Counsell, and Cameron. Of course they are merely the table setters, and none are the players they were when they were in the playoffs before, but they can help in the clubhouse...hopefully.

I haven't even looked for that reason

Why don't Phillies tickets for the playoffs go on-sale ?

The whole stadium isn't sold out with Season Ticket Holders or Partial game plans...this lottery thing they run is ridiculous

I believe every team does a lottery for their remaining playoff tickets.

    A little humor for today:

What's the difference between a Phillies' hot dog and a Mets' hot dog?

You can't get a Met's hot dog in October.
