shitttttt!!!!!! nothing you can do when a team is strokin the rock like that, well maybe you can defend better. the Hoyas were killin that zone, a switch to man might have slowed it down a little bit.

You think Nova did enough to get a bid?

It depends on everyone else now. Luckily for Nova some bubble teams lost - UAB, Dayton for example. They need more of those teams to go down like Arizona State, Oregon and New Mexico.

It will be a nervous couple of days for the Nova faithfull.

marquette really impressed me tonight, especially with the two games that McNeal has had so far after missing all of last year's tournament. they also did a good job of disrupting the notre dame's ability to get harangody into the flow of things.

as for Pitt, their toughness never ceases to amaze me and it wouldn't shock me one bit if they won the Big East tournament.

uconn squeaked by depaul last night...they've hit a plateau i'm afraid. they won't last long in nyc next month with that kind of game. they need to lose so calhoun can lose his collective shit and spark the team again.

nic's wildcats need a big win tonight to break away from that 'miss the tourny' pack.

dammit i knew it. and i wasn't even trying to be pessimistic. wtf boys? enjoy the rain here in storrs tonight. there's always the parade in hartford tomorrow. we'll probably draw mt. st. marys and lose to them in the first round.

pitt is for real, although they'll be tested tonight. gtown looked like a freight train yesterday.
I love to turn you on

Unless there are some major upsets in the other conference tournaments, I don't think you'll have to worry about losing to "The Mount", as they will probably be a play-in game participant. I don't see UConn getting a 1 seed, so I think you're safe there....

You just have to worry about drawing a team like Austin Peay or Oral Roberts (who are both more than capable of pulling an upset this year)...

Wouldn't it just a hoot if we freakin drew George effing Mason and played them in the first round??? THAT would make for some tv right there. At least around here. We're walking on eggshells up here. Can you imagine that? Calhoun would go straight to Natchaug Hospital (psychiatric)!!!

Yeah, that would be intriguing and definitely have some appeal for that first round game. I don't think the selection committee would do that though. They tend to not schedule first round games that are rematches from recent tournaments if they can help it.

    Oral Roberts

Regardless of the named honor, that school should change its name to Verbal Roberts. Oral Roberts is just too suggestive.

It's gonna kill me being at the office with no way to watch and only checking ESPN.com. I think lunch is going to revolve around going to a place with a TV.....

yeah right...in my dreams! we'll be lucky to get a 5 seed, and then get bounced in the proverbial 5-12 game. always happens.
