What's scary is that they will be even better next year.
UL would certainly turn some heads and greatly improve their seeding if they run the table here. I don't know though...it's a tough way to finish up the year.
UConn took Rutgers to school last night. Jeff Adrian was a man among boys out there. The guy just hustles and plays his butt off.
I heard a funny comment about the teams in the big east the other day...they've all shown they can lose. I thought that was pretty dead on considering how crazy it's been all year.
I doubt louisville fans will get any help tonight as georgetown is home to st. john's. should be a doozy (mental images mullin and ewing will have to block out the present)

Good win for the cards tonight. The Fighting Irish are exactly what everyone's been saying all year....a one man team.....congrats though to Mr. Luke Harangody on your career high 40 point game....doesn't mean as much when you lost the game though does it?
UL looked like a #1 team for the first 35 minutes of that game. Notre Dame came roaring back to make it look closer than it really was (ND was never a factor in the game), due mostly to the shooting of Harangody (what a player he is).
I look for a close game at home against Villanova on Sunday, and the game at Georgetown is up in the air....they control their own destiny, they only need to win out to win this incredible conference called the Big East.

I bet the BE gets 8 teams in this year....
fanch, Nova is gonna eat it hard on Sunday. Senior day with Padgett and Palacios....the crowd will be really into the game, and they will be playing with some big emotions. That on is in the bag. And honestly, I see us taking G-town again....it will be down to the wire though. Look for a great game on that one...maybe an overtime.
And I agree the Beast will get 8 in the big dance.
Also, just watched Georgetown win over Marquette in OT.....I thought Marquette had them...but let that lead slip.
Can't wait for the Big East Tourney!
I like MU but like Wisconsin a lot more. Prime example again today of why D. James is selfish. No need to foul at the end of regulation, just a stupid play with him trying to be the star and get a block or steal. Then at the end of OT his selfishness shows again, he dribbles down to try and shoot the 3 and go for the win, then realizes he's double teamed and can't get a shot off, then with 1 second left, throws the ball away. How's that decision to go pro working out for you, moron!

pretty exciting game between seton hall and st. john's today. st. john's wins 65-62 after being down 10 late in the second half. seton hall actually hit a game-tying three-pointer from halfcourt but it was taken away because they called a timeout well before the shot was released.

You are probably right regarding the ville beating Villanova....I didn't think about it being Senior Day. That city freaking loves Padgett (the coach on the floor), and it will be charged with emotion. You're totally right; I can't believe I forgot about that.
Louisville by 15 or more against Villanova today. Gtown is up in the air, but it may do them some good to lose a game before heading into the tourney....I know that sounds weird but you probably get what I mean.

I don't get Pitt this year....they are so inconsistent. Just a week ago they played the Ville down to the wire...and this week it looked like a different team!
Holy hell PC rocked UConn last night. UConn looked like an 8th grade team out there. WTF??? Please remove your heads from your asses boys. And AJ should just shut up and play. Dyson should go back to the parking lot and finish off that spliff he got suspended for. Idiots.
I mean really, UConn went on a 10 game winning streak or whatever it was w/out Dyson and Wiggins. Sure they struggled with some teams, but they won. Those two fools come back and disrupt the chemistry on the court. Sure they may have 'done their time' with their suspensions, but it all comes down to how they play. Pisses me off. And if JC would freakin' call a zone defense once in a while, we would have won last night. Jeff Adrian, as great as he is, should NOT have been guarding the guy bringing the ball up the court in a full on man to man press. Killed us.
the time schedule should be reversed....how do they have the guts to have the most important game of the tournament at noon on wednesday? and then play the # 1 seed at noon the next day.

has nothing to do with espn. it's the seeding. the eight-nine game is always the first one of the tournament and when there are four games in one day, it has to start at noon.

well whoever it is messed up with this one.....wouldnt it stand to reason that any 8 vs 9 would be a more interesting game than those where wv is favored by 9 and marquette by 11? no matter whos playing, just seems to make more sense..
