    I think it's the cat's ass!!!!!!!!!

There's a decent place here that has Sushi Thursday's...delicious. I usually go for the Spicy Prawn Rolls or the candied Alaskan Salmon Rolls.
Think I'll try something different this Thursday

I agree. There's good sushi and there's bad sushi. And every fish has a different flavor and texture. I don't like the chewy slimy things.....which I had a taste of last night! ugh! But the tuna, yellow tail, salmon and eal - are so good....mmmmm! And I'm working on trying more things. One new thing at a time.

Oh my gosh, do it, now! ;) Try sushi, and when/if you decide you like it, move on to Sashimi. You'll never go back.

edit: do you like seafood? I cannot conceive of anyone who likes seafood, not liking sushi.

im gonna have to disagree w/ ya there. i do not eat cooked seafood b/c i don't like it. it does not taste good to me what-so-ever. it totally disgusts me & i have absolutely NO desire to eat sushi at all! UGH! i could not get past the thought of eating raw fish first of all... i'll gladly eat a nice juicy steak or a big juicy cheeseburger any day.....no sushi or seafood for that matter! bleck!

Sushi is small pieces of fish wrapped in/placed on Sushi rice and seaweed. It's more palatable to beginners usually than sashimi, which is simply a small slice of the fish by itself.

When you're hooked (like me) you won't complain at a slab of sashimi. The rice - though it's lovely - takes away from the flavour of the fish, IMO.

    LOVE sushi and sashimi!

Prefer salmon over tuna, but I think I've had "older" tuna the past couple of times and that's never a good thing.
  • Damn you guys are making me hungry. Stop it. :D The UK isn't known for its sushi.
