It's not the real stuff (snackpacks are usually smoked), but it's all I got. Have to go to Leicester Square to get the real stuff. (Yesterday I did, which was awesome!)

'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'
i've never had bass! tell me, does it have a smooth texture? i'll have to go this weekend. i'm glad you got to go! how was it? don't you wish you could go EVERYday?!
Bass is interesting, as it's not exactly as smooth and soft as salmon or tuna; it's very slightly more fishy, a tiny bit more 'mealy' and steaky in texture... slightly more like cooked fish in texture, to be honest. Definitely recommended.
Next time I'm gonna try roe, clam, and urchin. Can't wait.
Edit: Btw it was absolutely awesome, and yes, I could easily eat it everyday.
When I was a kid, I always wondered how Robinson Crusoe managed that long. Now I know.

They've just put a Japanese restaurant 15 minutes from my house! Now I don't have to trek to London!

I vowed I would never even try sushi, the thought disgusted me,wasn't a lover of fish/seafood.
Then one when I was shopping alone I bought a take away pack for lunch and LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!
Eat it at least once a week now.

My uncle took me for my first sushi experience. It was the oddest thing. We got an eel roll and we both got a crab stick handroll. The crap stick went down fine, then I tried the eel and gagged it up. A few days later, I was craving the eel again! I had to go out and get some. Since then I too eat it once a week. And the funny part is, I hate crab stick! Eel, Tuna, White Fish, Softshell Crab, Octopus, Urchin, it's all great!
My new favorite is fresh crab and asparagus.. but barely cooked asparagus (one place around here cooks it til it's soggy. disgusting), but others just hit it with some heat. It's awesome!

Most sushi is warm. It's actually rarely cold. And it's fucking delicious!
I gotta have my sushi cold, unless it's cooked.....like a cooked sushi roll. Anyway, there's this seared tuna that I get at my favorite restaurant and it's hot on the outside and ice cold on the inside....yum!

Regardless if you are vegetarian, vegan, or just guilty about eating meat, all white people love Sushi. To them, it’s everything they want: foreign culture, expensive, healthy, and hated by the ‘uneducated.’
But there are different levels of white person Sushi love. At the bottom are the spicy tuna/california roll eaters. These are the people who get their fix at places named “Rock And Roll!” “Magic Sushi Company,” or Trader Joes-type supermarkets. Often times, this sushi isn’t the most authentic, but white people can’t get enough!
The next level up is the entry level Sushi snob, these are people who still love rolls, but are willing to branch out to Salmon and Tuna sashimi, maybe even eel.
Finally, you have the white sushi snob. These people just take it all way too far. Often times, they will only sit at the sushi bar, will try to order in Japanese and will only order Omakase. These people will often be extremely critical of anyone who eats a roll of any type or does not properly flip the nighiri into their mouths.
When white people get Sushi they all want to order Sake to complete the authentic experience.
So, how can this information be turned into personal gain?
White people are obsessed with finding good sushi, therefore if you offer to take them to ‘the best sushi place’ in town, you are sure to have them accept. If you are asian man, this is an almost no-fail method of getting dates with white girls, and maybe, just maybe joining Bruce Lee and Paul Kariya’s dad.
In addition, going out for Sushi is considered a special evening in white person culture. Not as special as breakfast, but still, it comes with expectations.
But what if the person you are interested in is a vegetarian? Not a problem. For some reason, most white people who say they are vegetarians will eat Sushi. Apparently, fish aren’t cute enough to warrant inclusion with pigs, chickens and cows.
