It would be awesome if he did his team a favor and they lost the AL Easy by a game and had to play a play in game and lost.

What makes it more depressing is the effect that plunking had on the game. Ryan Dempster brought Red Sox - Yankees back to life, arguably for the first time in years, and then he didn't have the common decency to finish the job. Maybe it didn't cost the Red Sox the game. Maybe in some nebulous way it did. Whatever the effect, though, Ryan Dempster raised the stakes. He took this game and elevated it to something more than a regular season game against a fourth place team, Yankees or not, and made it matter.

    And then he lost it.

Not a Brewers fan, Cubs fan. Braun and A Rod are on the same level, IMO. Both pieces of shit who should be out of the game.

I don't disagree that he should be punished, but that's up to the process to figure out.

Winning games with Ortiz doing nothing for a while.

went to the first two games against the Orioles. This was my first time at Fenway since 1999 and I was surprised at how well the rennovations took. I also was pleasantly surprised by the views from the right field bleachers in section 42.

    Lead starting to grow.
Tough bunch of games coming up.
Looks like that Victorino signing was a lot better than most people thought it would be.

Man, the Sox are looking like a road crew from the Amish district or the Stanley Cup Finals. 18-4 just do the same thing tomorrow.

That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in baseball. The best ever getting honored by 30,000 of his biggest rivals. I talk a lot of shit here, but things like that make you realize it's just a game.

    All class. Well done.

Nice home run swing.....just noticed we have the bearded crew vs the clean shaven crew from NY.

Quite the contrast for arch rivals. 3-1 now

I know you MIGHT be joking but I know you have NEVER EVER seen me write ANY SORT of talk on here or elsewhere. Besides I was only speaking if what I saw which was a long looping home run swing which in turn caused a home run 3-1. Which led to a 9-2 win I only state the obvious thank you.
