well, I don't know what else to say. The Powe hit wasn't dirty in my eyes. Not sure if you are Canadian, but you would love American football. THey are changing the rules to prevent contact. Guys aren't allowed to hit each other anymore.
Right, that's like me saying you'd like watching people getting stoned (with rocks, not drugs).
I like physical hockey, but what you and I consider dirty is clearly different.

And yes I'm aware of your football rule changes, which seem hard to accurately police to me.

I'm not trying to be a cock here, but it seems like you only think last night's game was dirty because a canadien got injured. It's a physical sport, guys are going to get hurt.

Agree 100% on the football comment...way too much gray area.

anyway, long way to go in the season, but it looks like the habs and flyers could see each other in the playoffs again this year. monday night should be a fun game to watch

I don't think the game was dirty, I think the hit was dirty. I'm a Habs fan, I'm used to injuries so they don't generally surprise me.

I'd rather not play you guys in the playoffs again this year, but if we are in good shape it could be a good series.

I like football but they'll have that ruined at this rate.

    Yeah...Lavy rides his goalies

ie..Cam Ward when he won the Cup in Carolina

    I think they bounce back

That was a fairly abysmal loss. I think the running BOB out there every night thing finally caught up with Lavvy - since Bouch was horribly rusty when he came in. Well, at least it was fun to watch. The fans seemed shellshocked - like "we didn't buy tixx to an All Star Game."

I was at an 8-7 game vs. Montreal I think in 1993 - we won that one.

come on flyers lets win one for the home side. should be a great game. i have to admit that i am liking how the habs are playing right now.

also for Rygar, whats with Price throwing the pucks over the boards to fans?

Just giving some souveniers to the fans!
Habs are playing well but our offense is touch and go. I wouldn't expect another shutout tonight so if they can't get it going, well.
