Just for fun, the Flyers vs. Rangers playoff history:

1974 Flyers beat Rangers 4-3 in Semifinals; home teams wins every game, Flyers go on to win Cup
1979 Rangers beat Flyers 4-1 in Quarterfinals; Fred Shero beats his old team, Rangers lose to Habs in Final
1980 Flyers beat Rangers 4-1 in 2nd Round; on way to Final (lose to Islanders)
1982 Rangers beat Flyers 3-1 in Patrick Semis; then lose to Islanders
1983 Rangers beat Flyers 3-0 in Patrick Semis; then lose to Islanders
1985 Flyers beat Rangers 3-0 in Patrick Semis; on way to Final (lose to Oilers)
1986 Rangers beat Flyers 3-2 in Patrick Semis; then lose to Canadiens in Conf Final
1987 Flyers beat Rangers 4-2 in Patrick Semis; on way to Final (lose to Oilers)
1995 Flyers beat Rangers 4-0 in East Semis; Stanley Cup Champs swept out, Flyers 3rd and last 4-0 sweep, then lose to Devils
1997 Flyers beat Rangers 4-1 in East Final; get crushed in Final by Red Wings

    16-7 in quarterfinals/2nd round (won 16 of last 20)
    8-8 in semifinals

222A, row 14 - $325 for 2 tixx with $25 arena credit on each ticket. $111 is pretty good apparently.

You wanna hear about a rip-off...I was looking at the "MarketPlace" where season ticket holders re-sell their game tickets

Not only do they jack up the price but on the website there is a 20% Service Charge !!

    Goaltending: Edge Bruins
Special Teams: ? (Bruins were 0-21 against the Habs) Maybe as bad as the Flyers have been they still get the edge

Boston is going to be tougher than some of you are giving them credit for.

They are big and can skate and have above average goaltending. Seems if memory serves, they played the flyers tough during the season, and i suspect they will be out to avenge last seasons collapse.

They took 3 of 4 and I think Thomas stole one or two of those.

This is gonna be a battle. Hopefully we don't lose the first 3 again...

Honestly the revenge factor has me worried

A lot of embarrassed players in that locker room last year

Maybe it could work to the Flyers advantage and the Broons play outside of their game
