the sabres look completely gassed. Playing 'must wins' for 4 months and having so many guys banged up finally caught up. The Flyers smell blood in the water and are playing a tenacious game.

Thank God he's finally showing up in the last two games and looking like his old self...

One more goal and cut off their friggin heads.

If JVR made that goal, that would have been absolutely sick.

    yeah, seriously.

I'd cut pronger's shifts in the the 3rd in case buffalo tries to start making runs at people in honor of their fallen soldiers.

Good series, Flyer fans. The better team won.

Im happy the Sabres gave me 4 awesome months of hockey and Im proud that they hung in there for 7 games (well, 6 really)... with a team who has been positioning themselves for a run this year.

    Good luck.

classy post. good series...sabres showed a lot of heart. they were undermanned and still took it 7 games.

My prediction of a 5-1 win and an awesome Boucher performance wasn't too bad, eh? ;)

Great performance by a really good team. Having to pull out a series in 7 games in the 1st round doesn't bode well, but at least the opponent will also have played 7 games, with the 7th game coming a day later, and then coming to Philly for the 1st 2. :D

As 81 said, still no shutouts. 89 games! (hey I'm a Philly fan, I have to bitch about something. )

plus the last 7 games of last years run. last shut out for the Flyers was game 4 (of 5) vs. montreal in teh confrence finals.

    96 and counting.

as long as they win, i'm cool with it.

dominating performance. survive and move on. good to see even the captain showed up tonight, although he still can't score a lick. good to see pronger get meaningful even-strength minutes. he will be huge in the upcoming series. let's avoid tampa if possilble. rather have montreal than boston but either is better than tampa.

not getting montreal unless it's the confrence finals.

we are getting boston, pittsburgh or tampa in that order

I want Pittsburgh then Washington. Two of the worst core of fans in the country, and would love to shove it up their asses.

Seriously - Red Wings fans? Beat it - take care of your own conference.

Sounds like Neily still bragging about winning in 1994.
