big game tonight. Buffalo is charged up with fan and alumni appreciation game for the 40th anniversary. The fans have been there since like 3-4 and they have flown over 80 former Sabres in for festivities.

Should be a good game. Both teams should be very sharp and desperate. Playoff atmosphere for a possible 1st round preview

That was pretty cool how both teams just sort of accepted a stalemate in the last two minutes of the game.

All and all, I think the Flyers have to be happy with the point.

I'm happy to finally say we're in the playoffs. :D

the team will be very hard to beat if and when Pronger comes back. They really gotta get Carcillo in the press box too.

I just don't see him coming back. The Flyers gave him a big fat +35 contract so all the money is guaranteed regardless of if he retires or not. I think all those years of playing out of his mind physical hockey and looking to kill dudes on the ice has finally caught up to him. It's a shame, really, because that asshole was born to play Flyers hockey.

This I completely agree with. He's just not helping his team at all. Even if he was, instigators don't really serve a purpose in the playoffs.

I don't think you rule the Flyers out just because they're in a slump. . . but all I can think about is 06-07 when the Sabres won the President's trophy and then plodded through the first two rounds and got demolished in the third.

So I think it was 2006 the last time Philly played Buffalo in the playoffs. Me and my buddy left a bar in Havertown at 2 in the morning and said fuck it and drove up to Buffalo for game 5. Sufficed to say, we ended up seeing our boys get their asses whooped 3-0. So, come this morning I sent a text to him saying, "Philly/Buffalo - you know what this means.." He responded, "Vengeance." Today so far the wagons have been circled and if Philly has the ability to clinch this series in that weak ass city we're driving up there so they can get their comeuppance!

Alright boys it's put up or shut up time !

The REAL Season has begun...hopefully they show up for it

I haven't heard anything on Pronger for the Playoffs

In my gut I say go with Boosh but I don't think it's gonna happen..my fear is BOB gets shelled one game and we really lose him for the remainder of the series

With that said if the Flyers show up and back check they way they'll need to against Buff I say Flyers in 6

Of course they could look they have looked for the last 20 games and be out in 5

I don't think it will be revolving

He gives up some weak ones I think he stays with Boosh for the remainder

Hopefully is not too late in the series and they can recover if it happens

My last post here for a while. . . .

You guys have a lot more riding on this series than I do. Honestly I'm just happy we made it. After our 3-9-2 start where we didn't get a home win until late November if you told me we would have finished last in the NHL I would have believed you. I'm excited to make it to the playoffs and I know with our new owner and management things are only going to get better.

Even though it may be a reach, I hope the series stays clean. Last year Boychuk from Boston intentionally injured Vanek and it just deflated us. I think both teams have evolved and we're not the big physical teams we were in the 90's.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is. . . Good luck?
