    they did indeed expect to do another movie with the joker.

    apparently the studio even urged Christopher Nolan to recast him.

    damn, why did it will take too long for TDK to be shown....i just can't wait for july :mad:

    I know this for a fact...Christopher Nolan was signed for 3 films

    whether or not joker was a part of the 3rd one is unknown.

    Ive tried clicking all the links people have showed for Two Face and they are all down now.

    the new trailer is sick with Harvey Dent laying on the ground and a liquid around his face.(presumably the acid that burns his face)

    Kevin Smith wrote in his blag that The Dark Knight, at over 2.5 hours long left him wanting MORE, and to describe how great it was was futile. He did say it was The Godfather 2 of comic book movies...and hes a huge fanboy, so Im even more excited now more than evr....Already got my Imax tickets and ready to go!

    Yeah i can't wait to see the whole movie. Have you watched any of the trailers? He really is incredible. Lots of reviews starting to come out now and they all have one thing in common. Ledger is amazing.

    IGN.com reviewer thinks this movie is arguably better than The Empire Strikes Back and the Godfather II as far as sequels go.. We'll have to see about that.

    I didn't get IMAX tickets but I did get regular theater tix for the midnight showing !

    Not many IMAX theaters near me and the ones that are were sold out

    I'll see it again the weekend it comes out I'm sure

    One thing to remember, comic fanboys (ESPECIALLY the batman crowd) are worse than even star wars geeks.....they'll tell you this is better than The Godfather 1/2 if you give them the chance. And as I have seen, some have already proclaimed this film in that realm.

    Like any movie, judge it on it's own merits. But don't set your expectations straight through the stratosphere passed the moon on their way to the end of the solar system based on these reviews. Get yourself an IMAX ticket, sneak in some booze (jack Daniels is my preference) and enjoy getting lost in what will likely be a damn good movie.

    My friend's husband does all the towing for the cars for this one and the last and he said that it's suppose to have the best special effects of any of them so far.

    Just hearing about Heath Ledger's portrayal of Joker makes me want to see it. Joker was once played by Jack Nicholson, right?

    Yeah but the character wasn't as dark with Jack as this one will be. Jack's Joker was more cartoony. this guy looks fucking crazy.
