I'm picking New England, but that doesn't mean I don't think Dallas has a chance or would be surprised if Dallas won.
well, yeah but dallas are better than last year too.

i agree pats are the better team... but dallas ain't completely ruled out on this one.

    Dallas 27...New England 21

I have faith in the 'Boys. although if they lose, they lose, its not like Im expecting a 16-0 season...Id much rather them lose to a non-conference AFC team then anyone in the NFC.

Well, that was bad. Obviously the defense has some work to do.

Was happy with Romo's play. Can't pin this on him.

The game changed on that 4th and one that Dallas converted at mid-field that was called back on a holding penalty. It was New England from that point forward.

Congrats to the Patriots, clearly the better team. Maybe we'll see you again this year.

Belichik is still an asshole though, especially for that dick move at the end of the game. No call to run it up like that. Take a knee and take your victory.

this isnt college this is the pros.
    he kneeled before 1/2 time
take our pity and be grateful ,45 seconds was plenty of time to make it 28-17

but i guess false confidence of taking the lead in the 3rd was fun too for you guys

the patriots are on a mission this year to give a huge "FUCK YOU" to the entire league.

they are going to score as many points as possible and make everyone look bad in doing it. the worst thing everyone could have done was try to taint their 3 superbowls with the whole cameragate thing. all that did was provide bulletin board material for the pats lockerroom.

and yes, this isnt college. if the cowboys dont want to be embarrassed, try covering someone once in a while instead of letting brady dismantle your defense.

    .

agree ... he played pretty well ... was pretty elusive when he needed to be, and the Dallas O line did a decent job protecting him.

I'm sure that had to do with the Peter King article where Wade Phillips was quoted as saying all of the Patriots championships are tainted and it's a big black mark against Belichick and his accomplishments ... also, the kid that scored is a Navy kid ... Belichick's dad coached @ Navy and Belichick grew up in Annapolis, thus, he's got a certain soft sport for guys that played in the service academies ... think I have that story right.

Alright, whatever, you guys said the Cowboys fans were being silent. I'm not. What do you want me to say?

I already said the Patriots are clearly the better team.

Best we can hope for is to learn from this and use later, hopefully.

The Patriots are no longer my concern as of this evening. My concern is with the 3 division games coming up in November.

No hard feelings. Never. Even against NOCODE#1 :D

Have fun with the Dolphins. You might score 60.

Just be sure to put on the same beatdown you gave us when you take on the Eagles, Redskins and Giants.

i've read a lot on this ... and everything I've read has stated that if there is ONE man in football that ALWAYS gets his story stright, it's Peter King ... perhaps it's ALL the press protecting one of its own.

My feeling, Phillips said this ... however, he said it right after week 2 ... King just held onto the quote until now as it's more relavent.

Ah well..big deal..we lost. Like I said, not like I was expecting them to go 16-0. I just love hearing from my Eagles friends who are beating their chests because they barely beat the Jets and we lost.

Congrats to the Pats...looking forward to seeing them against Indy in a few weeks.

yeah and gammons sucks boston dick alot as does king. he was very good with spygate but not here.he picked the perfect time to show the world what wade said, he could of printed this back in week 3 like any other writer would of done, but he went the hype route instead. and dont ever compare any of the 2 boston cocksuckers to dick shaap, shaap is a fucking legend in the biz.i have great respect for gammons but am turned off by his love for the sox.like flagg said its over and done with, now onto next week

refs gave the patriots a touchdown with the pass interference call........

also gave them the momentum of the game.

gammons love for boston probably has something to do with living in massachusetts. cant blame him for being a fan as well as a reporter.

when it comes to baseball, if peter gammons says it, i believe it.

with PI call are u talking bout the one on witten or the one on newman.blame the dallASS D for sucking and blame wade for not going on 4th down with bout 5 minutes left to go instead he kicks a fg big shit that did for us

the one on newman in the endzone............completely should have been a no call. It basically handed the pats a td, and killed all momentum for the cowboys.

The secondary is terrible..........you cant play zone D against the patriots when they are throwing every down. you just wont hold them.

And yes, the call by wade was clearly not the best choice.
