Official 2007 Dallas Cowboys Thread

Waited awhile to start this one cuz I don't give a shit about the pre-season. But I'm sitting here with my chips and salsa, beer in hand and pizza on the way. It all starts tonight. Actually the party started around 3:30 today as Green Bay upset the Eagles. :D:D:D

Dallas has a shot at the NFC East again this year. But the injuries are starting to worry me. I can't remember the last time Dallas started the season with this many injuries. The Cowboys have been really lucky on that front the past several years, but unfortunately have lacked the talent to take advantage of it. We'll see.

It will be nice to see a full season with Romo as the QB. Still not sure what to make of him yet. Not impressed with Wade Phillips but I think he will help the defense, which had major issues with giving up the big play last year. Of course, the Newman injury is going to be a killer if it lingers.

Way to let the Giants back in the game right before halftime.

By they way, our defense still sucks.

kinda surprised our d sucked tonight, running game is so so. anyone think we'll get a good draft choice with the browns pick in next years draft. me personally id like to get darren McFadden from arkansas, i think will romo is gonna be our qb for a long time so we dont have to worry bout a qb.

Holy crap what a game. Romo was 15 of 24 for 345 yards, 4TD and 1 INT. I'll take that every week. For once it was nice to see the Cowboys play to win instead of playing not to lose. That 51 yard pass to Sam Hurd late in the 4th Qtr for that last TD was playing to win.

The defense on the other hand looked like last year's defense. Still lots of work to do there.

And as if the Giants didn't have enough problems to worry about, they have a lot of injuries to deal with now.

Very happy, but still a little worried about the D.

    Good riddance Bill Parcells.

I think we need to make MBIII the starter. Julius Jones does not impress me and he made a couple of stupid mistakes tonight, including running out of bounds with 3:00 minutes left in the game.

The team seems to react to Barber's presence in the game.

jones never impresse me when he was ND. yeah MBIII should be the starter, i think jones's contract us up this year. a 1-2 punch of McFadden and MVIII would be awesome. romo put up a hell of a game alll the more reason to re-sign him

What a game....here's to hoping we get Newman back quick and we learn how to tackle. Offense was pretty good, agreed MBIII provides a huge spark to that offense. I agree, McFadden would be sweet as a #1 pick from the Browns then maybe Manningham from Michigan with our own 1st rounder, but he'll prolly be gone by then. A CB would be good as well but lets get through this season first.

More bad news for the defense as Jason Ferguson is out for the season with a torn bisep.

I'm taking my boy to Dallas this year to see my 'Boys.

I'm making us T-Shirts that read "I'm Homo For Romo"

I need to take him before they implode the stadium to make way for the new one.

As a Dallas fan, I am going to have to agree with this!

Ok...update on my use of the Browns #1....DT Dorsey from LSU might be a nice fit as well.

Dolphins secondary is hurting too. Their best safety (Yeremiah Bell) tore his Achilles tendon.

Can you believe the rash of injuries coming out of Week 1?

Also, the Brady Quinn era has begun in Cleveland as they have traded away Frye to the Seahawks. Way to stick with the plan there Browns. I will be watching them closely.

I would love the chance to see a Cowboys' game at Texas Stadium before they move...........I saw them on a Monday night in Atlanta......in 1992...on their way to a World Championship.
