i'm a chicago guy and i knew at some point someone would sign him...just didn't think it'd be a few days before the bear game. not that he can add much from a scheme stand point, but....what i will tell you is that you've gotten a young guy, high motor guy who's got something to prove.
to be honest, i'm glad he's not playing this week.

good luck to the c'boys this week...but i have the bears winning by 4...24-20. (did i mention i'm from chicago?)

You are counting on the defense to score at least 14 of those points right? :)

Should be a good game. This is a great test for the Cowboys offense.

Yeah, he isn't allowed a Valley Ranch or anything. The team won't see him until November.

Low risk is the key phrase here.

I think the signing is a good one. Low risk and he's young which is good. I did read today that he is allowed at Valley Rach for individual workouts, he just isnt allowed to participate in any team practices or meetings.

It would be nice if he could workout at Valley Ranch

Ah, OK. I think its a good move too. We can always cut him with no problem.

How do y'all think this game will turn out. Some people in the Bears thread are saying the Bears are going to score 20 to 30 points.

They only have two TDs so far this season, one from a punt returner and one from an offensive lineman.

I know Dallas's defense is bad, but it Rex Grossman going to light them up?

mr. grossman threw for 23 touchdowns last year....

and at imes he had games where he just flat out kicked ass....

other games he looked like shit.....no doubt.....

he is capable of putting up points......with him its just a matter of getting his head straight.......

i think he has the physical talent to be an above average quarterback in this league......

The Dallas paper has been calling him Train Rex. hehehehe . . .

Anyway, I see where you are coming from. And Dallas's defense has the ability to make people like Joey Harrington look like Hall-of-Famers. Then again we stiffle people like Peyton Manning sometimes. So you never know.

How is Grossman against the 3-4? He didn't look too good against San Diego.

What do you guys think of the Tank Johnson signing? We need another defesive lineman and this comes with minimal risk. He is signed for two years for close to the minimum with no signing bonus, which means at the first sign of him being a knucklehead, we can cut him with little impact to the salary cap.

    Great signing!!!!
He's a good player and with Ferguson gone for the year he's exactly what we need. It seems like 50% of players now come with some kind of baggage so why not take the risk.

  • GO COWBOYS!!!! lets see some offense.
i benched the bears defense on my fantasy football because i have faith the cowboys will be able to score.
    mean people suck!
    but nice people sw****w

  • HELL YES HELL YES HELL YES! This is an awesome win for the boys. We really won't be able to have a real test until New England visits in a few weeks. But we still have to get up for St. Louis and Buffalo, we can't just assume we will roll over them. Great teams take care of buisness against the teams they should beat. They also don't assume the other teams in the division that are having a hard time are done. The eagles will be right there with us, but we will KICK THEIR ASSES TOO.
  • aaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha. i fucking love it. i'm sittin here in my aikman jersey, (like 13 year old jersey) and watching the bears defense get stomped. oh and thank god for rex grossman.

now if vince young can do well and cram the 'aints i will be happy.

    god i love football season

while youare thanking god for rex grossman, thank god for not giving the bears a decent damn receiver who can hold on to a fucking ball.

Unbelievable the amount of drops the Bears had.

  • Oh so the Cowboys win. It still doesn't denounce the fact you have an idiot with the #81 on his back catching balls for your team. His post game interview showed his 3rd grade education off so well.

That maybe so but it's making him some serious money for him something you might wish for. I'm not even a fan of his and I can understand what he's saying in his post game interview.

For one, straighten your hat thug Owens. 2, Romo says that they had nothing to prove. She turns to Owens, and oh he's got something to prove. He's a big mouth moron, and I don't give a shit how much he makes or how good he plays, he's a jerk off.

To be honest when he didnt play for the Cowboys, i felt the same way about him. That's the beauty of sports. Love and hate can be determined by the color of a jersey.

EDIT: Thanks, due to Owens I now know how to spell grammar.
