  • Thank you Tony Romo for single-handedly winning my PJ-related fantasy football matchup for this week.
  • ain't no Cowboy thread dropping to page 4..

Glad they beat the midgets although the D on both sides wasn't that great.....

I say give them time to gel...maybe when T-New comes back, Roy Williams can stop watching and make some plays.

On the offense, I thought, Romo, MB3, TO (when he was thrown to), Hurd, and my boy Witten looked great. JJones had some good blocks and I haven't given up on him yet but damn, does he not just trip over the line of scrimmage?!?! I was hoping after Parcells left, he would run on instinct. Maybe they should start working Thompson in and light a fire under JJ's ass

    Sucks about Ferg

Eagirls lost and Miami should be pretty fun to watch

Roy really needs to become more aware and quicker on the pass defense..........

On offense, seems like JJones never gets any blocks. I like barber better, but jones has been getting shafted by the line.

not a Cowboys fan...had to get that out of the way.

Romo brought me back from 40 points down in my FF league and Housh got me the win.

so it looks like Glenn could be out for the year, possibly even done for good?

    Esther's here and she's sick?

hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks

JJ is starting to remind me a lot of Eddie George when he was with Dallas...run to the line and fall.

Glenn has a decision to make. He could go for a scope on his knee and that would cause him to miss a few weeks with no guarantee that his knee will ever get better, or the more serious micro-fracture surgery that would fix his knee, but end his season and possibly his career. Tough choice.

Do you know if those "premier" jerseys are worth the extra $25?

Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

I don't know...I haven't gotten a game shirt in a long, long time. If I got any shirt, it'd just be a regular Dallas Cowboys tshirt like the ones on the sidelines. Always thought those were cool.

Right now I am wearing a Naval Academy throw-back #12.....with "Staubach" on the back...:D Yes, I am old enough to have seen him play....had to witness the first two Super Bowls against Shittsburgh...still have the SI have the shellacking of Denver in SB XII.

Wow, I am glad to have that one behind us. Miami is clearly an inferior team though. Their defense is awesome but the sorry offense asks them to do too much. They were worn down at the end of the game. Too many turnovers.

    Trent Green sucks!!

    2-0.

Nice loss by the Giants too.

BY the way, The Boy's looked great today...Bring on Daa' Bears

Speaking of thanking God, thank God we have Jason Garrett calling the plays. On that 4th and 4 in the 4th quarter, Parcells would have tried the long field goal and left it to the shaky defense. Instead, 34 for yard TD to Owens. Garrett likes to take the opportunity to drive the final nail when he can. Awesome call.

I couldn't tall if the defense played a lot better or if Miami is just that bad.

Still a little shaky in the secondary, I think with better recievers they would have put up more points but it won't be long before Newman's back.

I couldn't agree more with what you said about Garrett. I think because he's been out there he calls plays as if it's what he would have wanted Turner to call for him. It helps Garrett learned from one of the best EVER to.

  • Did you catch T.O. "filming the Dolphins sidelines" after his Touchdown?...hahaha.
Funny, but I hope he has enough sense not to do that when the game is close. (he was penalized for using the goalpost as a prop?....ok)

Yeah, we had Giants game over here on Fox...then they announced "bullriding is up next"...shiiiiiit....off to the bar.

Boys-Bears will be on local next week though.

What do you guys think of the Tank Johnson signing? We need another defesive lineman and this comes with minimal risk. He is signed for two years for close to the minimum with no signing bonus, which means at the first sign of him being a knucklehead, we can cut him with little impact to the salary cap.

i'm a chicago guy and i knew at some point someone would sign him...just didn't think it'd be a few days before the bear game. not that he can add much from a scheme stand point, but....what i will tell you is that you've gotten a young guy, high motor guy who's got something to prove.
to be honest, i'm glad he's not playing this week.

good luck to the c'boys this week...but i have the bears winning by 4...24-20. (did i mention i'm from chicago?)

Good low risk move...hopefully he will be in shape and have fresh legs after his suspension is over. I don't suspect that he will be allowed to practice until then either.

Yeah, he isn't allowed a Valley Ranch or anything. The team won't see him until November.
