At this point I think it would be disappointing if it weren't 17-1 Dallas vs. 18-0 NE for the National Championship err...Super Bowl just because it would be ridiculous for that to be the case.
What about the Packers? There are a few people in New England who wouldn't mind repaying Favre.
i know that, but i just think the idea of two teams playing with a combined record of 35-1 would be pretty sweet, and might actually make the super bowl worth watching for once in our lives.

The Line would be Pats favored by 13 with an over under of 86.
I figured it out. Brady is not really on the field. It's a mechanical hologram figure that he manipulates from his living room with a Playstation 3 controller as he sits nude and has Gisele feed him grapes and cheddar cheese cubes by hand.
It's the only way to explain his video game like numbers. This is the best football team I've ever seen....until the Cowboys spank that ass in the Superbowl;)

It would be a legitimate college football line...like one of those late night Hawaii vs. Fresno State at home. I'd take the pats and the over for a decent amount, and dallas (money line) and the under to try to hit it big.

Brady now has 45 touchdowns. Forty-five. With three regular-season games to go. You figure he throws nine against the Manginis, six against the winless Miami Dolphins and four against the New York Giants before he's pulled midway through the second quarter. That gives him 64 for the year. The scary thing: I'm only half-kidding.
Brady's numbers are beyond obscene, beyond otherworldly. He needs five more TD passes to move ahead of Peyton Manning's record of 49 in a single season. That's more than doable against the Jets, who shouldn't expect any mercy moments from Coach Hoodie at Gillette Stadium. Remember those Coliseum scenes from "The Gladiator?" It'll be like that. You'll need tweezers to pick up the remains.
To bring some clarity and perspective to Brady's season, think of it this way: He has more touchdown passes than the rest of the AFC East (31), more than the combined totals of Brett Favre and Drew Brees (44), and the exact combined totals of Peyton and Eli Manning. He also has just five interceptions in 476 pass attempts. Dallas' Tony Romo threw that many picks in a single game this season.
As much as i hate the patriots i have to admit this could be the best offence of all time. the d is nothing special. Brady is just unreal.
a nightmare superbowl matchup: patriots vs. cowboys. I'll go to bed early that night.

.
Mother nature might put a damper on the record this weekend.
On a clear day, I'm certain he gets 5 Td's vs the Jets, cause Belichick would game plan specifically to embarass ManJudas.
But the potential Nor'easter could ground him...in fact could give the Jets almost a fighting chance (reference the Dolphins/Steelers Monday night monsoon a few weeks ago).
If the Steelers see the Pats again (unlikely as the Steelers look to be th3 #3 seed and would have to win 2 games first, including at Indy), Anthony Smith will be riding the pine, holding Troy Polamalu's hair curlers while he plays.

i think it would have to be near white out conditions for the pats to abandon the pass completely. brady could go with quick slants and screen passes all day.
How do you fucking stop that offense....that is already unstoppable? There should be some rules changes after this year....no Super Bowl champ from the previous year gets a first round pick or something. I mean...Miami needs the first and second pick overall..and I still don't think it would help them that much.

The rich get richer dont they ?
Funny thing is they haven't been using a RB this year much, Maroney and Faulk have only been getting a handful of carries a game
I forget how did they acquire SF's pick ?

The Pats traded their first round pick to the 49ers who selected Joe Staley at number 28 this year. The 49ers gave the Pats their 4th round pick last year and their first this year. The Pats then traded that 4th round pick for Randy Moss.
The Pats have a really good chance to have the alltime highest draft pick by a defending Super Bowl champion. The record is Washington with the 4th pick in the 1992 draft and they took Desmond Howard.

Wow
Sweet end of that deal or what !
Moss and possibly the 2nd pick in the draft ??
Which way you think they would go in the draft if their pick is that high ?

I can probably see them trading down a few times to the 20s and getting a ton of picks in the future. Like trading down to 8-10 and then trading that pick to like 15 or so and maybe once more into the 20s. They're a team with few weaknesses except age effecting the defense.
Parlaying the 2nd pick for a ton of picks would be the smarter move long term. Though adding McFadden to that offense would be insane.

The Patriots' game against the Dolphins on Dec. 23 has been moved to 4:15 p.m., the NFL announced today.
The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. By moving it to 4:15 p.m., the game will be seen in more homes nationally.
The Redskins at Vikings game was flexed to 8:15 p.m. that day as well, replacing the Buccaneers-49ers contest.

Beats me...said something about a forfeit pick....from the year before maybe? I still don't understand the politics of the draft.
