with Liverpool..its hard to predict anything nowadays.

That's not very good, but I know what you mean (Liverpool..its hard to predict anything nowadays.).

I keep hoping they'll stand up for real. The C.L. although desurived, was a bit of a flook. I want them to be mighty again (and beautifull to).

That's fucked...they shouldn't have to appeal. The ref should have taken one look at the replay and rescinded the card. Oh well.

I'm looking for a backlash against Fulham on Wednesday. The strikers are going to have to score at some point and against a very poor travelling Fulham side I think it might be the right time for 4 or 5.

    Maybe it's just wishful thinking.

its very frustrating to be a Liverpool fan..in January we were challenging for the title...now? might even lose 3rd place.
really need to buy alot next summer and sell alot..
reports claim we are trying to get Owen for 12 million...i hate him..but now at desperate times..maybe its time we swallow our pride and bring him back :(

ref was a disgrace..total disgrace...what was worse is the reaction of ARSE-anal players to help the ref make his decision..especially Senderos.
whatever happened to honesty like Fowler at Highbury in 96/97 season.

for me...im not disappointed in Crouch..he wasnt bought to score goals...its Morientes who really sucks for me.
Cisse..i dont think he is been given the chance to prove himself.
he seldom plays and when he does,he is being played out of position.
i will take a 1-0 against Fulham..as long as it's three points..though im hoping this game will open the floodgates for our forwards.

    Jimmy Johnstone Celtic Legend.

The wee man died today, he had motor neurone disease. He was one of the European Cup winning side in 67 and was voted Celtic's best ever player a couple of years ago.

this is one of the saddest days in Celtic's history.

    Really!!!
I think he use to have great potential, great talent back in 1998, but he only shows it rarely. I think Defoe could work he is not a first pick so I guess he'd be willing. Kuijt however made a little turn, since they're playing alot better than last season. He said it ain't all that certain that he'll leave. If Feyenoord qualify for the C.L. he might stay. He hasn't won a price up till now and he's the kind of player who likes to do things right.
On the other hand it is Liverpool. If you do get him, He'll be the crowd favourite ( just behind Gerrard of course).

Defoe can be inconsistent..that's his only problem.
but unlike Morientes and Cisse...he is a natural finisher which is what we need really badly and sadly Fowler isnt giving us that.
Kuyt is great...even a great personality..i admire players who are loyal especially in today's game where money seems more important.
i hope we can get him cos that guy is great all round.
after the WC too..his pricetag will increase alot!

Yeah and they don't want to let him go cheap as it is. They want something along the lines of Robben's transfer sum. 18/19/20 mil. euro. Did you know he extended his contract by 2 years last season even though it still ran for 2. He knew he wasn't gonna stay forever but he just signed anyway so Feyenoord could reassure a transfer fee, OK he got more money in the process, but not as much as he would've made elsewhere.

Agreed. Owen is really a good player, but he don't have something what the worlds best attackers have. And I thinks it's continuality, some games he's brilliant and some games he's nowhere.

Well, I'm a bit more sceptical. I think it's whole periodes of the a season he's no where to be seen.

Comphered to the defence and the attackers your pretty sure about the midfield.
I left out Ronaldo I don't like him, not any more anyway. Not since he left Barcelona. Guess he didn't have his priority's straighted out. He's just not as good as he could have been.

big young defender, useful in the air game.

    is he going to psv?

Well he is at PSV for training. You say useful in the air. I take it he's a centrale defender then. Is he left footed, Is he a killer or can he play as well?

man, all i can say is that he is right footed. and he played at the national championship last year.

i didn't watch much of the santos' games last year.

but now i wonder, did santos let him go, or you guys took him?

I guess Santos let him go. Or he is still theirs. He's only training with the 1 team and checkin' out the club, will the staff check him out. He's not under contract as of yet.

no i havent read it..theres alot for me to catch up on that thread! lol

    some transfer news..

Olympiakos are ready to rival Liverpool for the services of Fabio Aurelio in the summer.

The Valencia defender is a free agent and is expected to receive a number of offers as clubs take advantage of his Bosman status.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is a long-term admirer of the Brazilian, who arrived from Sao Paulo in 2000, a year before the Spaniard took over as coach at La Mestalla.

Greek sources claim the Merseysiders are ready to offer around €2 million (£1.38 million) per year to the 26-year-old, who twice won La Liga with Valencia and also the Uefa Cup.

Olympiakos have been alerted by the fact that the South American now holds an EC passport, although Barcelona and Real Madrid are also reportedly waiting in the wings.

Benitez has made a habit of raiding La Liga for fresh blood and knows Aurelio's abilities well.
