danielheyes wrote:Nice! ive got the liverpool top from when we played barca or juve(cant remember through all the trophies we won!!) in the uefa cup in 2001 and ive got 'Dalglish' and '7' on the back!!!
the book is cool though, its all about a group of scousers who went to all the games in Europe and started stealing all these tracksuits from the bigname fashion shops in Italy and France and Holland. They brought them back here and used to sell them in pubs or just on the street. Next thing everybody had one and there is this big surge in fashion and football and the culture it spawned!!
all thanks to the thieving scousers!!!
i love collecting kits..i have like 22 Liverpool ones, all with different names..dont like having too many of the same hah..and alot of Italy,Germany and Ireland ones lol

bad news though..
Liverpool have been dealt a blow with the news that Dutch midfielder Boudewijn Zenden will play no further part in the campaign.
Zenden was one of the players brought to the club in the summer by Spanish tactician Rafa Benitez and he had made a steady start to life at Anfield.
He damaged a knee against Real Betis at the end of last month and was initially ruled out for four weeks.
However, the problem has turned out to be more severe than initially thought, with cruciate ligament damage set to keep the midfielder on the sidelines until the summer.
Zenden is due to fly out to America this weekend to see revered Colorado-based specialist Dr Richard Steadman.
Surgery has been pencilled in for Wednesday, with The Reds scratching the midfielder from their plans for the remainder of the campaign.LIVERPOOL FC -18 time League Champions-15 time Charity Shield Holders-7 time League Cup Winners-7 time FA Cup Winners-5 time European Champions-4 time UEFA Cup Winners-3 time European Super Cup Winners-1 time World Super Cup Winners

Rafael Benitez has today been named Barclays Manager of the Month for November after guiding the Reds to four straight Premiership victories.
It's the first time the Reds' manager has won the award and comes as a fitting accolade after steering Liverpool towards the top end of the league table.
The Reds scored eight goals without reply in their four league fixtures during the course of the month as they racked up victories over Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Manchester City and Sunderland.
Liverpool also picked up a victory and a draw from their two Champions League clashes in November - again without conceding a goal.
"It was a good month for us," said the Liverpool manager today. "We won games, scored goals, kept clean sheets and moved up the table.
"This award is for everyone at the club and not just me. I want to share it with my staff, the players and the supporters. Everyone involved in the club is a key player in our team and everyone has been working really hard. When you work hard then you can be successful.
"It's nice to receive individual awards like this but it wouldn't happen if we didn't have such a good group of people at the club. I have confidence that we can keep improving and win more games. That's the idea."
Congrats Rafa..a very well deserved award
