i like how new yankee stadium looks. i've heard mostly bad reviews from people who have been there in person though. on tv, i think it looks really cool. that big screen in center looks totally distracting though

I love the new place. Lots of thing I miss about the old stadium but this is as good as I could have asked for. The screen is gigantic.

What were the bad reviews? I think it is extremely fan friendly especially when compared to the old one.

too expensive...seats in upper bowl too far from the field...just not as fan friendly as cbp. i think we're spoiled down here. i'd like to go to a game up there next year though to see for myself. like i said, it looks pretty cool on tv though.

There are plently of way too expensive tickets in the stadium but where I sit is right in line with where it was in the old stadium. The upper level is definitely not right on top of the field like it used to be and I have never sat in the outfield upper level but I have been very happy with the view from the upper level.

It's really tough to compare CBP and Yankee Stadium, they are completely different. Citizens Bank (which I like a lot) was built as a comfy ballpark, New Yankee Stadium is the exact oppopsite. My biggest problem with the new stadium is the location of Monument Cave, I mean Monument Park.

I definitely suggest you take in a game next year up there.

I think the Yankees better HOLD on and win tonight. Giraldi has pulled a panic move, if you ask me: Rivera in for a 6 out save? I don't care if it works, and it better, or not, this a panic move. What happens with MO, if the Yankkes lose, and thers a game 7?

I like it, game on the line heart of the lineup, bullpen has not been getting it done and he is the best ever.

Thats true, and thats why its a panic move. I guess Mo will have to get 4 six out saves in the WS?

I am one who thinks the best pitcher should be used in the most important situation. When the game is on the line you go to your best. You and I both know Mo will not be pitching 6 outs in every game if they advance, those were 3 important outs and Mo has had plenty of saves of more than 3 outs.

Thats so TRUE. Ther are some games where the SAVE can come in the 8th, or even the 7th. I agree with you ther, we've seen too many games where that "set-up" man, BLEW the game.

Yea, i know Mo won't be doing 6 out saves, in ther 4 wins. I'm sure the Yankkes will win a couple of those 4 wins, by 4 or 5 runs against the Phillies.

I really hope this opinion starts to take over in baseball, too many times I have seen the wrong pitcher in just because it is "their" inning

So do i. But, you know thesse managers today: BY THE BOOK!!! That, and the pitchers will get pissed too, because your taking them out of ther" role". You know, you have the "middle man", the "set-up man", and of course the "closer". And my favorite, the "LEFT-HANDED SPECIALIST". And how could i forget, the relief pitcher that can only come in when the wind is blowing in from right-center at 10MPH, or more  . Oh another thing: They want those SAVES, for that next BIG contract.
