but what he said is irrevocable and a big no-no ,
I'll be surprised if we ever see him inside the ballpark ever again .

If the MLB wan't so far up the network's assses, I'd say get them on the field NOW if the weather is cooperating.

Seriously, when there's this much rain expected, why not try and get the game underway early?

    I know, I know ... I know the answer .... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

of course, the funny thing is that if the Dodgers could have forced a seventh game, they would have played today at 4.

probably has a little to do with competing with CFL ... but, logic dictates more people are at home at night, prime time is where all the ad revenue is made.

Now, if you said the competeing with the NFL, that I'd completely believe.

YES NETWORK has Mike Francessa broadcasting live from the ballpark. Hes also showing pregames press conferences, he's just wrapping up Philies coach Mike Sociassa live right now at 545 PM .

They also keep shwing the field and the tarps are all down,

    its steady f'n raining ......
    then it stops,

seems theres is a trend developing , we might get this game in . !

If it goes 7 and the Yanks win, CC wont be available until game 3. Thursday would be 2 days rest.

If it does go 7 (hopefully not) and the Yanks do win ( hopefully do), we're better off with CC in game 3 anyway. That way Burnett would get game 2 at home, where he pitches much bettter, and CC in Philly for game 3 where he could hit as one the better hitting pitchers in the game.

I would think aj would start game 1 as he will be on the most rest. Game 2 is then a question. Gaudin or Andy on 3 days rest and i really dont know about Andy going on short rest. CC hitting is definitely the yanks best option for the NL park.

Win tomorrow and none of this matters. Lets do this Yanks!!!

Tonight blows!!! I need some Yankees baseball!!!!!

Its fucking glorious out there today man ,
Maybe the postponement was the best bet .
I mean i can totally see the entire island of manhattan clearly from my balcony in queens,
    - crystal clear out there .
Not sure if its windy up in the Bronx,
but down here by the oceanfront in Queens ,
the winds are gusty and steady .

The ball should carry nicely tonight up in the Bronx. Only 8 more hours to go !

    Lets Go Yankees !
