really starting to worry about Hughes & Joba. Maybe it's just the Angels have their number, and hopefully IF they move on, they'll get their shit together. And cut the fucking walks out. That 3 run 7th, right after their 6 run 7th, 2 of the runs scored got on base via walk. That makes me sick. Maybe if AJ & Phil throw a few strikes there, we're watching YES with some champagne flowing. The weather for Saturday night looks pretty bad. pretty really bad as Milhouse Van Houten would say. Maybe it'll slow the track. I really believe that if they win on Saturday (weather permitting, AGAIN) they'll have a competitive advantage over the Phillies, who will have been sitting for a week. Now, they have to win the series obviously, and I think they have to win it in Game 6 to have a real advantage, so CC can go Game 1 against Cliff Lee. A Game 7, esp. if it's played on Monday due to a rainout, will screw them up.

I agree, I'd like to see Robertson in that spot instead of Chamberlain. Also, I disagree with A-Rod being pinch run for. What if they only tie the game and A-Rod's spot comes up again?

I'd still put Hughes in the 8th on Saturday. If the situation allows. And I would put in Robertson for the 7th. But if Robertson has an easy inning. I would keep him in for the 8th.

I agree it is disapointing. For hughes last night could it be nerves? I've heard some baseball people say when a pitcher is having trouble locating their fast ball get them to throw their breaking pitches because they have to concentrate more about the delivery.

Hughes seemed to be able to get the breaking pitches across. Was he maybe over throwing his fastball. Not saying that is the case or was the case last night. Just a thought. He is young, but then again so was Clayton Kershaw and he was starting game 1 for the dodgers so that should not be an excuse.

    ah Fuck it.

They just want to win up in The Bronx at the new digs, in front of their hometown fans.

Note- we dont have to hand out those ridiculous thunder sticks,
We bring the energy and noise on our own , in our house.

    c'mon Andy, bring it .

    My thoughts....

    first off ...... Fuck!
next.... Swisher i love you but sit down. Melky move to right and Gardner start in center.
Girardi,...really some questionable decisions sometimes. I mean that's why i have nothing to do with baseball but i dont understand some of his moves. I still believe in him though. & Phil Hughes....seriously come on man. For some reason, he always sucks in Anahiem. That is after all his hometown so maybe he loses his head a little bc he always stinks it up there.

Im nervous. Wish we were playing tonight. & Torri Hunter is an annoying douche.

We will be ok, the make up of this team is solid. Even if Girardi is kinda weak in his descision making. The 2 loses in the playoffs we have...have come on the road, to a very good team in very hard fought battles

    I believe in Andy

Yeah, I defintiely think we will be okay. Just a bit more anxious after last nights loss. You are very right though, both losses have taken every ounce of fight from the Angels.

They definitely showed it and at some point, someone's drink landed in the radio booth.

I went to game 1 of the ALDS out there, when they beat the Sox 5-0. There for the PJ shows, decided to take in a game in Socal. I was expecting a more laid back crowd, with passion from the fans. Didn't expect all the damn hooligans i saw  Honestly, people bothering people for no reason. These 2 idiots I sat next too, kept buying beer only to spill it.After a few they were just holding them and spilling them, and kept buying.Throwing crap at Red Sox fans, little Sox fans(like 12 yr girls) passing by, screaming nasty stuff in their faces. About a half dozen serious fights broke out, mainly chicks.......I was shocked. I've been to Fenway, seen the interaction between Yanks/Sox's fans at the Yankee Stadium, and its usually if your looking for trouble you'll find it.

I mean Disney is just down the street for Christ sake people

First, I couldn't believe they showed that guy last night but thought it was pretty hilarious. What an ass. He was bowing after he jumped in. Haha.

I had a couple friends that went to a Dodgers/Phillies playoff game last year and they said they were literally scared for their safety. Guess those LA teams bring out a rough crowd.
