    love it!

the giants are the underdog that everyone hates! it doesnt get any better than this.

this superbowl win will belong to only giant fans. the only people on earth who really know how good this team is. everyone else can go root for the patriots, yankees, manchester united, the russian hockey team, rodger federer, and tiger woods.

i've been rooting for federer from day one.

    class act.

    Esther's here and she's sick?

hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks

yeah, he saw that game too. He was probably as frustrated as me. Think about it this way: NYG wouldn't be in the bowl if it weren't for Patrick Crayton, yall should be thankfull to him. But yeah, I saw Phillips after game interview and he repeated everything I'd been saying, because.....uhh, it was fucking obvious.

Fucking aswesome! What a game by the Plax/Eli and the D!
Man that was fun to watch.

The drama in this game just goes to show you that NFC football is where its at.

    Fuck the AFC.

This is going to be another great challenge. If they can beat the Patriots, this will go down as one of the greatest seasons by any team ever. Beat the Boys, Packers, and then the Patriots? The three "superpowers" all season?

The team nobody believes in is going to face the team nobody doubts in the superbowl. I cannot wait.

Hmmmm....this sounds familar to something that happened in the past like 1986.

    Do you recall.....

    Jan. 26, 1986 - Super Bowl XX - Chicago 46, New England 10

    • Jan. 12, 1986 - AFC Championship - New England 31, Miami 14

    • Jan. 5, 1986 - AFC Divisional - New England 27, L.A. Raiders 20

    • Dec. 28, 1985 - AFC Wild Card - New England 26, N.Y. Jets 14

I remember it was said the Patriots were called back then "The Road Warriors" winning all 3 playoff games on the road I believe.

Then came up against the might Bears team and we'll should remember what happened. I was just happy the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl that year especially since it just came out of the blue.

We shall see how it turns out this time.

He's probably still saying it...over and over and over again. I hope he says it a million times while he watches The New York Football Giants play in the Super Bowl, with Jerry Jones hanging over his shoulder with that look on his face.
  • Brady apparently hurt his foot somehow yesterday. According to the NY Enquirer, it's a type of injury that does not heal quickly.

It's most likely nothing more than a post-game precaution. Tom Brady being one of the most popular people out there in the US right now, is widely photographed, so he gets the attention. I'm sure if you took the pictures of every guy who just played on Sunday, half of them would be in some sort of bandage/brace/splint. It's just how the game is, even when you don't get injured, you're always hurt.

  • Well the Steelers were the home team 2 years ago, but chose to wear road unis due to the run they were on. So then it was the Bears last year. So it'll be the pats in their home blues.

  • Right I know the Pats are the home team but wasn't sure if they've said which colors they would wear

no, the Colts did. Game was just on NFL network the other day.

Pats will wear the blues. They wore the blues in SB 36 and 38, whites in 39.

is this confirmed? all the stores around here are selling Giants blue jerseys with super bowl patch, and pats white jersey with super bowl patch.

Im hoping giants are in road whites.

    actually ... nothing official ...

    I gave it a look ... this link ... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/7163-NFL-New_England_Patriots-New_York_Giants-Patriots-Giants_Looking_Ahead_to_Super_Bowl_XLII-210108

said ... "On Sunday, February 3rd, when the Giants take the field in Glendale, they'll be sporting their white road uniforms and taking the field as a 13 to 14 point underdog against the Patriots. "

But, that person could be just as clueless as anyone ... who knows, maybe thinking about the road winning streak, the Pats play a little gamesmenship and decide to make the Giants wear the Blue (or Red) unis and the Pats wear white. Wouldn't put it past Belichick to think of that.

they'll probably be in white, but they're selling both colors at the giants pro shop:

it would seem kinda dumb to buy a jersey with the super bowl patch if it was the wrong color. but i already have a white jersey. i need a blue. shit...

either way, i'm only gonna buy one if they win.

entirely possible. but they've already worn blue twice during the playoffs... so who knows?

jersey colors don't really mean all that much when patrick "hands" crayton is on the field. ;)

After reading the blog this guy's comments sums up how I feel...

Who cares about this guy? He is arrogant, smug, selfish, and a pretty lousy sportscaster. The Giants have proven that they are better without him. The record speaks for itself.
