    too bad the patriots got...

    P'WNED!!!

j/k...this was easily the best superbowl ive ever watched and one of the greatest games anyone will ever see. pretty damn psyched.

oh, and whoever had 7 and 3 in their pools..CONGRATS YOU RICH BITECHES!!!

No one saw this coming. No one. After the Cowboys went up to NY and won that game and Manning threw those 4 picks against the Vikings, how many people thought they would even make the playoffs, much less win the freaking Super Bowl? Just unbelievable!! Wow!

I almost had a heart attack and a few more grey hairs. It was fun to watch as Super bowls go. :)

i agree, the Giants played some real shitty football this season. I was never convinced they were a good football team.

i can appreciate this. believe it or not, there have been a few people on this board who weren't 100% in love with my screen name. shocking, huh?

better manning... yeah... i took a lot of shit for that one.

and you know what? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D

    M-V-P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Giants fan through and through, but it took the last month and a half for me to be entirely sold on Eli. He's just not what you think of as a typical NY all-star. He's quiet, unassuming and laid back...not boisterous and cocky. I didn't think his demeanor and attitude was the stuff of a champion, nor did I think he would ever fit in as part of a NY team, and my god am I glad he proved me wrong. This is truly a great day to be a Giants fan. I am the most hated man in my Wellesley, MA office right now...and it feels GREAT.

I'm not a Giants fan, but in the offseason do you think they can get a new fucking center?!? On that last drive if Eli had to bend over any further to pick up the snap he would have been cast for the next season of OZ!

  • I might go out of the loop here since I'm a huge giants fan but...

I think their defense (especially the pass rush) is one of the best that we have seen in the past 10 years. They are better now than the Bears D last year...and we absolutely wrecked the greatest Offense in the 88 years of the NFL, which allowed the best QB of this past decade to be sacked 5 times and knocked down another 18 times = 23 times

yeah, too bad they couldn't give the MVP to the entire defense, especially the line.

Check out this shirt, perfect for Giants/Yankees fans

  • I dont think I've felt my feet hit the floor all day.

UNREAL !! I still can't believe what they accomplished. What a total team effort all throughout the playoffs.

Now we just need Spags to stay !!! (not likely)

Congrats to the Giants. I still can't believe I watched the play where Eli escaped the sack and completed the pass to Tyree who made one of the greatest catches in Super Bowl history.
The D-Line was great. In my opinion, the only way you can beat this Pats team is to keep Brady under duress like they did. Even the best QB in the game can't complete passes when he's being drilled into the ground.

    Thank you New York Giants.

I'm a Steelers fan and I couldn't stand the thought of those cheating S.O.B. Patriots going down as arguably the best team in N.F.L. history.

This is one AFC fan who switched sides for the Super Bowl. Thanks again, Giants. Hopefully this loss signals the end of the Patriots as a dynasty.

close to 98 million viewers. Highest rated SuperBowl. Second in viewers to the finale of M*A*S*H. Except there are more channels to choose nowadays.

He should stay. The skins job wouldn't be good cuz the coaches were already hired. So he won't have a say. It's better for him to stay.

Ohhh, that is weak!. Your team got beat. Get used to it. Was it a fluke when the Patriots beat the heavily favored Rams? (Maybe that one had more to do with with the spying and cheating)

Thanks for the heads up Bath! You should have put that in a new thread!
They just said he'll be on Wednesday though.

Ugh I switched on just to see Hillary :(

yeah I heard about that earlier today, then heard the Giants would be landing in Newark around 7PM. Letterman tapes around 5:00. I also read somewhere today that Eli was quickly whisked to Disneyland for a promotional appearance.

the front of the parade has now reached City Hall Plaza.

watching festivities on the television- they just had antonio pierce on.
    one of the leaders-

i still wonder what exactly went down between him and Tiki Barber .
Its been spoken about ( on Mike & MadDog ) that they simply do not like each other and have had " blowouts" between them in the past,......

they also had TUCK on- one of my favorite players.
