Eli again looked like a little bitch. He just can't win a big game. Way to run the show...3 delay of game penalties in the 2nd half.
Not all on Eli though. Again the pass coverage was awful. Its never really magnified but the Giants Linebackers are really week.

This looked like the Giants of last year all across the board.

Camp Coughlin's team of injuries continues. As it does every year. Shockey gone for the year with a broken leg. Thats 3 broken legs IR this year. I've never seen so many injuries under 1 coach in my life.

Eli is a drip. Trade for Derek Anderson in the offseason. At this point I'd trade Eli for a roll of quaters. I'm also beginning to think Ward or Bradshaw should be the #1 back with Jacobs as the alternate.

Never thought I'd say this as a diehard, but I think more good things can happen with the team losing the rest of the year.

last nights game was terrible. I was there and that offense had zero rythm. Eli has less personality live than he does on TV. they are pathetic. 4th and 1 and 3rd and 1 stuffs? Sure, there were a lot of dropped passes, but some of these throws Eli makes...wtf? how about the one to the triple covered pylon in the third qtr...???? where the fuck was he throwing that?

for the record, I was not proud to be a giant fan at all yesterday. not because of the way the team played either (although, that is a good reason) I am almost turned off from ever going to the stadium again. some cowboy fan (sure, its obnoxious to wear cowboy gear to a giant redskin game, but its only a game) had snowballs thrown at him for about 10 minutes, was called an asshole, ridiculed, and had beer poured on him (it was the coldest I have ever been and I cannot even imagine being wet too). one did hit him in the face and he did appear to be hurt, and they kept pouring beer on him. The kid to me looked like he was 15-18. When you get a bunch of new yorkers in a parking lot drinking togehter for about 12 hours, it sucks. no fun. Mob mentality.

fuck you giant fans for that pathetic display.

Was impresed the Skins won that game, maybe it makes up for blowing the other game. As a skins fan I am just glad the season has meaning for another week.

Here's what I want to happen, with a disclaimer. I know it won't happen. The Giants make an offer to restricted free agent Derek Anderson. Cleveland would probably match, but if they didn't and decide to go with Brady Quinn, it would cost the Giants a 1st and 3rd round pick. I'm okay with that. The 1st rounder will probably be in the high teens or early 20's. The Giants would be upgrading at QB, and actually getting a younger QB to boot. The only problem is they won't be able to get Braylon Edwards to come over with him, as those 2 are one of the top QB/WR combos in the league. They could then either shop Manning and hope to get some picks back to replace those lost in the Anderson deal (don't think they'll be able to get a 1 and a 3, but they should be able to get something decent) or put the 2 in an open competition in training camp. Like I said, it'll never happen. Even though Accorsi is gone, I think the Giants are still unwilling to admit they made a mistake throwing a ton of picks and cash at a kid just because his brother is great.

QB--I agree with the post above looking into getting Derek Anderson or:
Draft Colt Brennan. The dude has a great arm, is a great athelete, and is a firey animal on the field. I can't take anymore of this babyface Manning .

RB-- Look into using Ward or Bradshaw next year more. Jacobs #2.
WR-- Test the free agent market to get a WR to truly compliment Plaxico
LB-- DRAFT A STUD. # 1 Draft pick should be a sick aththlete LB
DB--upgrade where possible.

Coaching:
Keep--D coordinator Steve S
CAN--O coordinator & KICK OUT Coughlin. Replace with Cowher??

As much as I hate Eli Manning, a lot of the mistakes on offense are not his fault, last night he did throw some terrible passes but he threw some great passes that got dropped...if those catches were made there would have been a lot of first downs and probably way more points on the board

their offensive line cannot hold a decent-excellent defense whatsoever...come playoff time that will kill them...now with shockey out that offensive line will be even worse, shockey wasn't making the receptions he has made in previous years but his blocking was the best on that line

agreed. everyone mentions how he made the playoffs three years in a row and now maybe four. well, I could have gotten that team to the playoffs with tiki barber as my rb. he almost cost them the playoffs last year by not using him enough the past six weeks. the dude said he was retiring...what were they saving him for? I would have given/thrown him the ball 50 times a game.

I would love to play the cowboys again. Two holding calls cost us the last game and the first one was a barnburner.

I seriously doubt they're gonna give up on Manning after four years, and three consecutive playoff apperances (hopefully). I wouldn't feel comfortable with Derek Anderson as my QB just yet. And I am not sure about a QB who plays at Hawaii stepping in and playing at the Meadowlands. Remember, it took Phil Simms a while before he was able to win in the playoffs.

Derek Ward was a BIG injury. He was starting to remind me of Tiki a little bit. Now we have to deal with Shockey out. Even though he wasn't having a great season, he was still a big threat in passing game and a good blocker.

Have to keep in mind that they've played the last couple games without either starting safety and obviously without Kiwanuka.
