actually jeff hostetler got us the super bowl win in the '90-'91 season....but whatever, what matters is that the giants are 4-2 and looking at a very favorable schedule. i'm guessing 12-4 right now, could even be 13-3 which i think would give us home field in the playoffs, which is very key. the nfc is wide-open though. unfortunately there is no mystery this season because everyone already knows that the patriots are going to win the super bowl, but i'll still enjoy it if the giants can get there....they just gotta stay healthy and keep up the intensity, if they do that, i like their chances.

we play the Patriots the last game of the season. But they'll (Patriots) probably play their backups by then. I hope we get to sack Brady and make him miss the playoffs. Or we play them in the Super Bowl and win by 3 points.

yes it was, and so was the o-line...

special teams are still a disaster. they need to work on that...

so who's going to london? :)

it could be worse, our qb could be Cleo Lemon.

Well, today he's gotten more yards and has a better percentage for complete passes than Eli does.

Haha. Fair enough. I know that he's better than Cleo, but he is really sucking today and is way to inconsistent in general.

Well, I'm glad the Giants won, but a 13-10 victory over the Dolphins is kind of pathetic.

And for the record, Cleo Lemon made Eli Manning look like shit today, and that is not good.

he didn't play great today. But there were alot of dropped passes. And clemons got more yards because the Giants couldn't tackle.

i hear everyone saying how bad eli and the giants sucked today, but really.....lets put this in perspective. i know it was even for both teams, but the Giants had to travel all the way to london for this game, the weather was absolutely horrible, pouring down rain the whole game, maybe that's why eli's accuracy was a little off, and there were a lot of dropped passes....not only was the weather horrible, but in result the field conditions were terrible as well, it made it tough for the defensive line to get the good push they usually do, and that said giving up only 10 points which is a season low for the fins is an accomplishment for the defense. the offense ran the ball well, but the game was sloppy in general by both teams. i'm just happy the giants pulled out the victory, now they can relax during the bye week and get ready for dallas and the rest of the regular season played in the united states of america. thank god. this is still a solid team, no need to get down on them for not blowing out their opponent, the important thing is that they did what they needed to do to win.

    All fair points, Tiki.

Lets just hope that this was a result of bad conditions and jetlag, and not a sign of things to come.

i agree with these points. the bottom line is that they got out of london with a win despite whatever variables came into play.

but they have to get better at playing in those types of weather conditions, because next time it won't be against miami. one of eli's biggest problems is that he struggles in bad weather. this has been a constant throughout his career so far, and it's something that he's gonna need to get past if he wants to succeed in new york.

here's a thought: with all the soccer stars in england, why even bother to buy lawrence tynes a plane ticket? they should have just left him at home and dressed someone from the premier league in his place. :)

the giants will be wearing their red jerseys on sunday and will be handing out red towels at the game when they face the dallas cowgirls..........not that that means anything but just a little sidenote..........hopefully the crowd can bring some noise.

    prediction

    Giants - 34
    Cowgirls - 24

On the Daily News it says this is possibly gonna be the NFC game of the year. The last 2 years we lost. So hopefully we'll make our field goals.

  • Eli again looked like a little bitch. He just can't win a big game. Way to run the show...3 delay of game penalties in the 2nd half.
Not all on Eli though. Again the pass coverage was awful. Its never really magnified but the Giants Linebackers are really week.

This looked like the Giants of last year all across the board.

  • The delay of game penalties were ridiculous, and unacceptable. It would be bad if that happened on the road. It is inexcusable at home

That's what I mean when I say this reminded of the Giants of last year; which is scary.
Shockey was the only one who came to play yesterday. Though I question the coaching moves too. No balls down field to plaxico?? no big plays??
    one on one pass coverage???

And what is it with our players always getting injured. That's it no more injuries. Jacobs better not get hurt these next couple of months.

  • Camp Coughlin's team of injuries continues. As it does every year. Shockey gone for the year with a broken leg. Thats 3 broken legs IR this year. I've never seen so many injuries under 1 coach in my life.

Eli is a drip. Trade for Derek Anderson in the offseason. At this point I'd trade Eli for a roll of quaters. I'm also beginning to think Ward or Bradshaw should be the #1 back with Jacobs as the alternate.

Never thought I'd say this as a diehard, but I think more good things can happen with the team losing the rest of the year.

  • last nights game was terrible. I was there and that offense had zero rythm. Eli has less personality live than he does on TV. they are pathetic. 4th and 1 and 3rd and 1 stuffs? Sure, there were a lot of dropped passes, but some of these throws Eli makes...wtf? how about the one to the triple covered pylon in the third qtr...???? where the fuck was he throwing that?

for the record, I was not proud to be a giant fan at all yesterday. not because of the way the team played either (although, that is a good reason) I am almost turned off from ever going to the stadium again. some cowboy fan (sure, its obnoxious to wear cowboy gear to a giant redskin game, but its only a game) had snowballs thrown at him for about 10 minutes, was called an asshole, ridiculed, and had beer poured on him (it was the coldest I have ever been and I cannot even imagine being wet too). one did hit him in the face and he did appear to be hurt, and they kept pouring beer on him. The kid to me looked like he was 15-18. When you get a bunch of new yorkers in a parking lot drinking togehter for about 12 hours, it sucks. no fun. Mob mentality.

fuck you giant fans for that pathetic display.
