    True. No bad dogs,just bad dog owners .myself included (rarely but somtimes)

    Piper is being a real pickle. Her mom took her to the vet on thursday for a dental. even though piper gets her teeth brushed nearly every day, she needed to get two teeth pulled. she got left at the vet for nearly 10 hours. because it was my wife who took her, piper has been giving her the cold shoulder ever since. piper wants only to be with me and wants nothing to do with her mom. it’s sad and funny at the same time.

    What kind of brush do you use?
    I’ve had four dogs in my married life. The first (Golden Retriever Shelby) would let you brush her teeth and coat for as long as you wanted. she died at 13 and never needed a dental cleaning. Our next Golden (Gracie) hated being brushed and semi-tolerated the toothbrush. Our current Aussie Winnie was doing shows at a young age, so she is very used to being bathed, brushed and blow dried. She tolerates that and teeth brushing. Piper is a pistol and doesn’t really like being brushed or the toothbrush. Still, my wife gives it a go, daily. You can do a much better job if the dog is compliant.

    Piper still seems pissed about her day at the vet.

    P.S. get Barkley started right now, juggler. Last week’s vet visit set me back 1200 bucks.

    Got it done yesterday. I’ll post another pic when it’s healed. Couldn’t be happier. My artist moved to Miami last year but comes up to do guest spots every now and then. Had this booked since November, not my original plan but everything changed once Stewie passed away early December.
