Hi! I know we just met, but I feel like I know you already. My dad told me all about you. You kinda smell familiar too.

So, I kinda suck with the captions. But I love this pic!!! :x It looks like Piper is almost admiring her... tho being a pup I cant imagine she sits still for too long... probably a well timed snap :-bd .
Was Sasha all like, wtf... who the hell is this and what have you done with my friend? Man... they're gonna be two big fluff balls running around together in no time!

To paraphrase the state farm commercial, "that's cuz Sasha's a guy"

Today was Piper's first trip to the park.....besides Sasha, she met 3 goldens, two labs and a pudelpointer (all grown)...she loved it! She also went to home depot. Loved that, too. I'm loving that she's worn out.

Jake is a cutie. The saying is "old dogs are the best dogs!" They also rarely piss you off

but it's cool watching see Piper see things for the first time.

He is 11. We found out last week that the old guy has arthritis. But that doesn't seem to stop him from jumping on the furniture like he owns the place!

bathing 20 pound puppy Piper is soooooooooo much easier than bathing our 75 pound Golden (may she rest in peace :x )

Piper loves her new buddy!!!

We are adopting soon. Originally we had wanted a lab, I had labs growing up and they are great dogs, good tempered, great with kids and love being outdoors and in water.

Then came a radio add about adoption, and it said something along the lines of 'being put to sleep' so my boys asked, I gave them answers and now they want to bring the entire pound home. One will have to do, but it will be hard seeing all those animals and knowing we can only save one. I'm considering getting a kitten too....we shall see.

I hear you! Our shelter that we adopt from is a no kill, but going in and knowing you can only bring one home is so hard! We have 3 cats and a dog currently....lol
