Yeah that was the 2nd night home with the baby

He was exhausted from getting up each time the baby did

I wish I could train him to change diapers :) :problem:

No such problems with Gracie. If nothing else, she LOVES the pack!

yesterday on my walk, a friend came with me and brought her golden, Valen...very sweet dog but a little touched...he couldn't be trained to be a service dog :(

anyway, he is a really friendly dog...loves dogs, people, dogs and people! :P

and norm? wanted nothing to do with him...too many sniffs on the walk...sniffs are the most important thing in the little guy's life!

Sounds like Petey, he says hi to the other dogs at the park, but usually wants to get going on our hike. He will jump up on me to get me moving again.

Looks like they had a blast...good to see Gracie running and happy again. Petey is hanging in there too. I don't take a moment of his life for granted.

My dog robbed another dog of his stick at the dog park the other day. I was embarrassed. I think this is the second time. He just runs by and yoink! Other dog stands there going "what the hell? What's THAT!!!" and ran off after a bird. Oh dogs...so in the moment...

Hope he's OK. Don't let him chew those stitches!

Did anybody see the story on NBC during the Olympic coverage tonight about the blind sled dog? Great story! I almost cried.

I got home from the school run yesterday afternoon to find Rufus lame in his front right leg. :( He wouldn't move unless he had to and would only do a couple steps. So I had a look and he had a thorn from a bouganvillea in his paw. :o Now those things aren't little and all I could see was the base where it had snapped off the branch sticking out. He's a miniature poodle, so you can imagine how far into his paw it was. Mum and I had to hold him still while I got my dad to pull it out.
My son was a bit upset as it is his dog, and insisted that Rufus needed to have his foot bandaged!! So I packed his paw full of savlon as it was the only antiseptic cream I had and bandaged his foot. I took some pics, and I'll put one on later. But today he is much better. I took the bandage off him this afternoon and raced around like a hairy goat, had big roll and went for a dig in the sandpit! So he must be feeling ok!
