didnt look like they sucked last night,

thats the weird intangible with this group............. inconsistency

Also gotta give a nod to Prust , taking on guys alot bigger then him and with a much longer reach , just overall larger opponents. He tookem on nonetheless.

so , ...we are .500 against the Devils this season .

4 or 5 teams clawing and scratching for that 8th seed spot.

    jekyll and hyde rangers!

have to give it up to them. strong performance last night, and a good fight against washington the other night. they will continue to scrap until the season is over.

    in henrik we trust!

    oh lord

Apparently, Rangers forward Marian Gaborik injured himself in today's practice when leaping over goaltender Henrik Lundqvist in a shootout drill. Gaborik fell awkwardly and after lying on the ice for about thirty seconds, left the rink favoring his right leg.

Here is a detailed description of the series of events (in quotes) courtesy of Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants:

"Marian Gaborik just skated gingerly off the ice at this morning's Ranger practice, favoring his right leg. The team was doing a one-on-one drill and Gaborik came in on Henrik Lundqvist, who dove out to try and poke check the puck away. Gaborik tried jumping over Lundqvist and instead slid face first toward the corner, remaining on the ice for about a half minute as Lundqvist checked on him.

Gaborik then skated toward the bench bent over, holding up his right leg"

Well, obviously not good news for the Rangers, and if this turns out to be something serious, I would imagine he will not be in Vancouver for the Olympics next week.

Will keep you posted as the updates become available.....

totally. but you figure if its on his knee cap and he has to get it stitched up, i imagine he wouldn't be able to bend his knee much during the healing process at the risk of splitting the stitches open?

Supposed to be going to my first Rangers game tomorrow!

But if it snows as much as is expected, will the game still be on?
    Do they reschedule?
Or will the game still be on?

Sorry if its kinda a dumb question-- don't know all that much about hockey!

A juicy rumor is kind of like a car crash. You don't want to see it because you know it's bad, but you somehow need to stop and see the damage.

Well they perfectly capture Eklund with this one:

"Any person can post, tweak, or "report" what they wish without consequence and more importantly without legitimacy."

Unfortunately he's quite popular so a lot of people run with whatever trash spews out of his site, lol

Isles ended a 7 game skid last night facing our opponnents for tonight,...
tavares with the game winner in a shootout ,
they tookem' past 65 minutes .

point being the road team on the 2nd of back to back nights,
surely they'll be tired and fatigued
when they face the Blueshirts tonight at the Garden ..

Nashvilles Joel Ward was the 2nd star of the game in the loss .
