Gomez Injury a Counterpoint to Comeback Point [Updated]
UPDATE: The Rangers' fortunate run on the injury front continues today, as even when a player sustains an injury, it's not as bad as expected -- reports from practice today say that Scott Gomez did not suffer cracked ribs that would have sidelined him for an extended period of time and is day-to-day, with a return for the Rangers' next game at the Garden Tuesday a possibility. Thanks to Rangers Report and Blue Notes for the news from the MSG Training Center.

    yeah

they were talking about playing against Boston ( another original 6er ) 1 at Yankee, 1 at Fenway, but something must have fell thru=- i also know the Isles were lobbying bigtime for that game,
so who knows what led to that deecision- at least all the rumours floating around all mentioned the New York Rangers playing in this game, with whatever opponent.\

Sweet ! - I would also guess these are going to be murder to get your hands on

To be honest the Flyers have played better against Henrik

Avery will take Gomez's spot between Dawes and Shanahan, Straka will move up into Avery's spot on the left side of Jagr and Dubinsky, and Prucha will step in for Straka alongside Drury and Callahan. Hollweg will remain in Betts's spot between Sjostrom and Orr. Paul Mara, cleared to play, will remain sidelined with Christian Backman having earned a reprieve with his three-assist performance in Philly.

    4 New Line Combos

    Dawes- Avery - Shanny

    Straka - Jagr- Dubinsky

    Drury - Prucha - Cally

    Sjostrom - Hollweg - Orr

    ugh

that was a bitter pill to swallow.

maybe some MSG PJ tickets will lighten the load on that one,

    it was terrible.

    especially Averys pass in OT-

    just terrible.

at lkeast we get right back to it Thurs against the winnless Devils .

I believe we can still catch the East and the Penguins .
