  • Well I got to attend the Rangers/Oiler game this past Saturday....fucking awesome seats....third row from the ice next to the penalty box....anyway good game....good guys won....had to make one point and that is Avery is the biggest douche-bag in the NHL....with a doubt....ego-maniac or something.....during the pre-game warm-up (my seats were in the Rangers for the 1st and 3rd) one Oiler fan (season ticket holder as I see him going nuts on TV every game) is hammering on the glass giving the jabs at all the players and clutching his Oilers jersey crest and showing to each player as they skate by...anyway Gomez just laughs everytime he skates by....Dubinsky laughs along with other players....then Avery comes by first he rolls his eyes and then everyone starts giving it to him...next time he comes by he stops by the Oilers fan and starts clutching his jersey in the air and starts yelling and bad mouthing the fan....does this for three more times as he skates around and one time goes to the class to have a heated chat with the Oiler fan......

Let me say this some of the Rangers Gomez/Dubinsky included looked very very unimpressed with his behaviour.....Dubinsky at the end of the pre-game lifted a puck over the glass to the yelling Oiler fan to show some class.....thumbs up for that....thumbs down to Avery as the looks his team-mates gave him said a thousand words.....

Avery is the biggest douche-bag in the NH

I agree, I'm kind of embarassed he is Canadian, I wish he was American so I can hate on him more

I am starting to think Downie is going down this path to be at Avery's level in the next few years. Did you guys see his cheap shot to Blake

Frickin Claude Lemieux, I blame this all on that douchebag

Rangers Must Strike Lightning Even Without Straka
UPDATE: It gets worse -- Sean Avery placed on IR with a hand injury (contusion, not the hand previously operated on). Brendan Shanahan likely to sit tonight. Pierre Parenteau called up to help, with Greg Moore possibily sidelined with the flu. Strudwick at forward and Malik on D a likely scenario. For more see Rangers Report, Blue Notes, and Slap Shot.

just snagged a pair off of the Evil- Bay.

My record of retiree nights in a perfect 3-0
    ( sorry i didnt make it to #1 and # 7 Nights )

its all good tho- i just wanted to be in the house , to go along with attending both Richter and Messier Nights .

    Im totally pumped.

Got section 318 , 5th Row( E ) and I think this is the opposite end that the #2 Banner will go up on

either way i'm in the house so im good.

UPDATE: Some line tinkering for tonight, with Hossa moving to Jagr's line, Drury moving in with Shanahan and Greg Moore, Dawes to the Dubinsky line. Malik scratched again. Thanks to Blue Notes and Rangers Report for the news from the morning skate. Moore named to Planet USA All-Star team, as expected -- see Howlings.
