i guess the altitude problems were too much for the blueshirts to overcome alltho their shifts seemed to lessen as the game went on.

henrik not holding that pipe killed us.

he looked pretty dejected in the lockerroom afterwards.

to stay up late ( on a weeknight / worknight ) to watch a good complete and competitive win is 1 thing,....

to stay up late to watch the ice capades is another.

( with the exception of Dubinsky and Gomez- they appeared to be skating their asses off )

    this guy

had a great assist in the quater-final vs Czech yesterday

breaking down to the right of the goal, he stopped, spun around and as he was coming to the apex of his spin, he made a pass across the ice to the winger opposite him who was all alone for the goal, the goalie and both of the Czech defencemen were frozen from the instant stop and spin

i'd check ebay every day and hope you come across an affordable auction. that is what i did for mike richter night, and i was able to get 1 ticket in the 400's for $140 about 3 nights prior to the game.

    yeah, thats just insane.

keep trying though. i lucked out for mike richter night. i am sure it was just some guy who decided he couldn't go last minute and just threw the ticket on ebay. it was literally 2 days before the game, and he had to overnight me the ticket.

been absolutely hawking e-bay, and to my dismay , the only decent deals are approx 800 bucks, putting you in a decent area of the arena for the game.

i settled for 400 sections, for Messier Night, and yeah- i was there and all, but where i was seated was quite frankly horrible. ( not certain of exact location but its all the way upstairs , where the wooden roof comes down real low just over your head, and we were jammed in there next to a pair of morbidly obese young ladies.

needless to say we were jammed in like lemmings into shiny metal boxes.

now, i was fortunate enough to be able to say i was there and witnessed it firsthand, so in the end the big picture- it was good to be there.

( i even got 1 of those limited and numbered-- # 11 banners-made of the jersey material --- which i still have in the plastic wrapping- there were only 1800 of these made .)

I also paid out the ass for Richters, was all the way up in last row of the 300 sections behind the 8th ave end- not too bad at all.

they do also have a luxury suite available- i think it was 8 seats- for 4ooo bucks,    Maybe a bunch of us could chip in and go in on that !
    Imagine ! ? !

i never have nor would i ever consider dealing with craigslist.

at least e bay and paypal there is some ( however limited ) protection .

you may have to dish out a good ole NY Beatdown here, which may also lead to legal consequences.
