i know i am on Time Warner NYC, so it usually cvomes up on 51- TV Guide Channel. But Saturdays game, however, had on the islanders saluting the stanley cup team from 1980.
There was the game broadcast on FSNY, with Doc Emeric & Chico Resche (sp), but absolutely NO Sam and JD at all on my system- at all!
so much friggin $ and we cant get a dedicated channel # for MSG2 ? gimme a break- theres just no excuse for that in my eyes.
i justr hope there will be something on this saturday- because there will be no FSNY to help me out, this time around !
    friggin hooples !

OK, for some odd reason the last post I see is my own, even though there have been new ones since. Odd.

We should send angry e-mails to MSG and our cable companies!

Niemenen is gone to San Jose for a 3rd round draftpick.
Hmmmm i thought for sure , if they did indeed make any trades, it'd be for a defenseman .
Thats too bad- he was a decent guy, and I know he was close friends with Kaspar.
So goes the life of a hockey player.
    Good Luck, Ville .

    Damn, Jagr got caught twice.....
3 games lost in a row and now Philly is only behind 1 game.
Surely there is no panic, but it's time to regroup.

Hollweg is awesome. He was crushing people last night.Exelby looked like the cork popping off of a bottle of champagne...Purinton is a great guy off the ice, but he pulls a lot of bullshit moves (eye gauging) and I've seen him a couple times get into stick fights in Hartford. I dont know why he resorted to cheap shots, he is a big dude.

    go Rangers

He claims his stick was legal and that the ref wasn't measuring correctly. If the league is going to institute a policy forcing them to measure the curve of every stick in a shootout, they should at least have a standard uniform way of doing it. Had he been given a shot, it could've won the game for us. No use crying about it now though, got two tough games this weekend, back to back, against hungry teams. I look forward to seeing them exact their revenge in person on Sunday.

    LETS GO RANGERS!!!

    holy shit
have we stepped into a time capsule back to 2003-04 ? If so , where was messier ?

    ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    but seriously-
3 losses in a row, matches our season high.
I would LOVE to have been a fly on the wall in that lockerroom. Im sure Jagr got reemed by Renney and maybe even fined.
We can sit here all day and say what if this, what if that , ( * if Ward hit the penalty shot, that wouldve eliminated the need for OT ) Revenge will be sweet on Sunday- 5 pm .
Why'd they make that game 5pm? wondering if they're trying to make us miss the sorpranos ?
Hollweg was his awesome self and how about Michael Nylander ? That guy is awesome also.
Congratulations to Thomas Pock, also netting his first this year .
The defense looked tired at times. Its really crazy that they havent tried to bulk up on D. There is always the 3pm deadline today , maybe they will still make a deal or 2 .

Essentially getting Ozolinsch for the 3rd round draft pick which they got yesterday for Ville Nimminen.
At least they added to the D.
The D has looked very tired the last few games ( 0-3 )
Rozsival, Strudwick,Kaspar & Tyutin can only do so much,

with that lethal sniper Malik out . ;)

I doubt Jagr was "cheating" intentionally, but nonetheless after getting caught once, he should have done something about it.

To be honest,I would just be happy if they make it to the second round....I dont think anyone expected them to do this well. They should be all set for the years to come.

Hope they snap the losing streak real quick

I agree on all but 1 of your points.
I also hope they snap the 3 game losing streak- NOW
I agree that nobody expected them to do this well.

I respectfully disagree with being happy simply making it to the second round.
Getting to & winning Lord Stanleys Cup will be the only thing that will erase the last 7 seasons ( 8 years with the lockout ). That Garden has been just 1 miserable place.

Enjoying the rare nice day out on the Island. Lets hope they snap back tonight. Philly already did us a favor and lost to Buffalo today, so thats good. Here's to hoping for back to back wins though. I'd hate to see them lose tomorrow night in person.

its looking more and more like the olympic break was the worst thing ever for our beloved Rangers.
how many times can Sykora miss the net today? Geesh !
And again, if teams consistantly put 2 guys on Jagr, doesnt that mean that somewhere on the ice, theres someone open and not covered ? Just some random thoughts...

    c'mon boys- enough already

They gotta change something up. Juggle the lines around, something, anything. Hopefully once Prucha comes back, that'll help. He's like the new Graves, just plop down in front of the net and try to get the rebounds or redirections. I don't see anyone really doing that as much now. Lets hope they figure something out this afternoon. I'd hate to see them lose in person. Curious who will be in net though.

    But as always,
