looking back , ...... things probably all went down under with that entire 7.7 seconds left fiasco up in HSBC Arena .

     7.7

i'll be thinking about that this whole summer

and no, its not phil espositos number ,

i think we all know exactly what i am referring to .

instead, we let them put the dagger in us , in our house.

    oh well.

was a great ride they took us on this season,

look forward to september and training camp in greenburgh.

I couldn't watch the game live, so I just finished watching through DVR. wow, what a game!!!!!!!!!

there's no way I would hang my head as a Rangers fan......those boys gave it all they got til the end.......

you might blame that 7.7, but looking back at the series.......there's one glaring item, the Rangers simply did not score 5 on 5. Most of their goals were on the PP. Either you had to start scoring even strength, or get buff into the box constantly.

    that was a great series..............

I hope Buffalo smacks the shit out of Ottawa. LETS GO BUFF-A-LO

Rangers out played the Sabres during the whole series...Game 2 they out played, 3 and 4 they won, game 5 they out played them and just didn't have luck their way.

Next year is going to be the big year. Next year is probably Shannys last year, Jagr is almost at the end of his prime...their young players have had experience in the playoffs now...Lundquivst is the goalie he should be...I think we will go really far next year

I hope we sign Avery but I hope we get Scott Gomez as much as I hate him. Imagine a line of Gomez, Jagr, and Shanahan...We have to get rid of Malik and Rachunek

Rosival has my respect after this playoffs...most minutes out of the team, has been the best defensemen

Next Year Starts Now. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I can't wait for next season. Although those early season October games might be overshadowed be possible baseball playoff games, I can't wait. This year was the most exciting Ranger season since the mid-1990s.

i dont know what series you were watching, but theres no way in hell the rangers "out played" the sabres. especially in game 5. they would have been very lucky had they won that game.

you're a class act bathgate! (as are most ranger fans that I know) don't worry about us against ottawa...they have a joke of a goalie...sabres in 3.

as far as the 7.7 goes...i was just talking with a friend...about being on your end...and i came up with the 'homerun throwback' vs tennessee in 99. that was much worse than norwood for some reason...awful.

sabres have made a living off of those types of wins over the past 2 years, i don't know how they do it...

all i know is that the ducks scare me. don't wanna face them....

i wouldn't get too cocky, ray emery looked fairly decent against the devils and your coach thinks they're playing the best of anyone still in the playoffs and a coach knows more than fans.

ray emery looked good against the devils because they are the devils. they have no offense.

give up those rebounds to B-lo...and like i said, Sabres in 3. Bring on the Ducks.

ok, i'm just telling you what their coach said after today's game. if the sabres play the way they did the last two games, then yes i agree with you but if they don't and fall into the trap of playing a 2-1, 1-0 game, then it might be a problem. I think the Sabres win it but I think it's a long series, six games at least.

    yeah, i know...obviously i'm just talking trash.

lindy is a great coach and is calling his team out...he knows that they need to play better than they have to beat ottawa...

stop talking bout logic and facts :) the rangers made my blood pressure rise 200%...i feel this great relief! it's like my gut is a pressure cooker and the steam has been let out.

when heatley's not killing someone, and when spezza's not pissing himself, and when alfredsson is not choking...they seem impressive.

but they really aren't. Only thing that can kill the sabres is the PP....hate our special teams.

i dont know what series you were watching, but theres no way in hell the rangers "out played" the sabres. especially in game 5. they would have been very lucky had they won that game.

Game 1 we obviously didn't have our head in it
Game 2 - we had 33 shots on goal, they had 18...we kept up with them and out shot them, just didn't show up for the 3rd period
Game 3 and 4 - we played way better hockey then they did in everything
Game 5 - We didn't beat them in a lot of the statistics but we did play an even game until the 3rd period...we out skated them for majority of the 3rd, up until 2 or 3 minutes after our goal, after that the Sabres had their momentum...We outplayed them for 2 1/2 of the 3 periods

My aunt works with Melrose, and even he thinks that the Rangers played a better series than Buffalo, but in the end the Rangers gave up mistakes at the wrong time

past couple years felt good to be finally watching the Rangers in the playoffs. This year even more. Great run and looking foward to next year.

Henriks play to stop the breakaway yesterday (leaving the goal wide open and the puck ending up on a Sabre stick) gave me a friggin heart attack.

    congrats to Buffalo
