you are such a joke. people that want to remain anonymous don't post their match.com profile on the pearl jam message board. you really make me laugh.

wow, and you are really such a sad and pathetic little boy, trying to pick on a girl on a message board.

This is so inappropriate and not the right forum for it, mods please take note.

And here I thought you were alright.

For your information, I wanted to delete that as well but the thread is now locked so I can't.

And again you are talking w/o knowing anything about the situation. Oh I feel so sorry for you. You're going to feel thisbig in about 10 minutes.

red sox really let that one slip away tonight. bases loaded with 1 out and didn't score.

nice to see joba pick up his first win but sucks that the sox lost.

sox in baltimore and yanks on the way to kc so chance to pick up (or lose) a 1/2 game tomorrow.

it is weird that the yanks go to kc twice.

I think you might, you called something else last week, I forget what it was but I remember posting about it.

I can do that too... I KNEW the Yanks were going to lose in 2001, in Game 7. Absolutely knew it. I have a sixth sense about things. Esp. sporting events.

I think it was the Ian Kennedy start. I also knew they were going to lose in 2001 when they brought in the infield with Rivera pitching. I also dreamt JFK jr's death.

    Yes, the Ian Kennedy start!

I knew they were going to lose that morning in 2001 :)

Did you really have a dream about that? I have dreams that come true also. That's so interesting. And if I'm watching an awards show I know who will win before they open the envelope.

It was really a dream of a small plane crash. and there were flashes of pictures. And i think I saw his name in my dream. I actually thought it was going to be john travolta.

    whoa!

john travolta, yea he flies his own planes. Oh I hope not, that would be terrible.

That was like in La Bamba when Ritchie, what was his name, Ritchie Valens, the main character had dreams he was going to die in a plane crash too.

that's true but it will still be eventful nonetheless, somebody's going to get hit in retaliation for that Youkilis thing. Im guessing A-Rod.

yea even though i don't think it was on purpose. but if it was that's good that we finally threw at them. 22 games left. I hope they go 16-6. I think that's doable. it's amazing how many times the yanks were written off for the year. and if we get swept by kc it'll start again. They're in 1st on the wild card. And Boston still won't be satsified until the magic number is 0.

Oh I don't think they threw at him on purpose either, but I think the Sox do, so they'll want revenge.

    Wow 22 games?

We can't seem to stay on a streak though, we get hot and then cool off. Depends on the pitching.

We should take the series in KC.

    what's the Sox magic number?

Actually if the Sox go 11-11 which is unlikely because of the 6 games with D-Rays and 12 homes games left, the Yanks would have to go 17-5 to win the division.

  • I'm pretty sure that this is the first game I've seen in person that saw a player homer twice in the same inning. It was kind of funny that Rodriguez's first home run came less than a minute after the results of his MRI were announced.

Rodriguez is the first Yankee to hit two home runs in an inning since Cliff Johnson on June 30, 1977 in Toronto.

The game also marked just the second time since 1941 that the Yankees had 10 or more runs with seven or fewer hits. The other instance was April 7 vs. Baltimore.

Another interesting nugget is Jose Molina. Each of his last two starts have been with a young pitcher. He caught Kennedy Saturday and caught Hughes' best start since coming off the disabled list.

indeed they did but they were hard to see.. they showed the instant replay of both of them.

did you see the interview with A-Rod on NBC, they kept asking him about his leg and he was like "thank you.." wouldn't answer the question

the 2HR's reminded me of watching Reggie's homers in the Bronx is burning. I think A-Rod is gearing up for a BIG postseason. We just have to clinch a spot!

was that a 1-on-1 interview? because i was there with the rest of the media after the game and he talked for six minutes or so after the game and detailed going for the MRI and so on.

you were there?! Oh man that's so cool.

Oh no I didn't even see that interview

no it was on the 6 o'clock news, reporters went up to him and his wife earlier in the day and asked him about the leg and the ankle and he just kept saying "thank you" and kept walking, he wouldn't answer their questions.

The MRI just said he had an ankle sprain, right?

oh, well if that's the case, i can't say i'd fault him for not answering the questions. the guy should have the chance to spend to afternoon with his family and not be bothered.

Sprained and bruised right ankle. Look for him to DH for the weekend. But I'd also DH him most of the series in Toronto on the turf.
