There are extreme cristians to.
glad you can start off your post with an insult.
of course there are extreme Christians. I'm not denying that. their extreme beliefs greatly differ then that of Islam. obviously.
and what you claim to be "extreme aspects" are held true for million and millions of muslims throughout the world.0 -

How do you know anything about these millions of people jlew? Where do you get your info from? A newspaper a news channel?
I wouldn't mind but your opinions never actually sound like one you formed on your own, there rather like one you read or heard.
You have a great bias towards muslims and i find it rather distastful.Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

um no i am not 12. and the attemted appointment of harriet Myers to the Supereme Court of the United States of America was easily the worst proposed appointment in recent memory, and probably in the history of the court. call me names all you will, you probably dont even know who the fuck she is. which seems to be the theme of this thread.jlew24asu wrote:
thats just your opinion. seriously are you 12?
just because someone else has done it doesnt make it right. you're tought that by 3rd grade. the man outted a CIA agent, and your making excuses for his pardon? ridiculouspardoning is the biggest joke in american history. if you want to bring up bush then lets bring up all the criminals clinton pardoned.
um, he appointed a man completely unqualified for one of the more important agencies in this country. that appointment helped fuel a pathetic response to a natural disaster. and all yuo can say to defend it is others have done it. actually, it is not done as much as you might think, and this was clearly the worst case of cronyism in recent memory. it's like me appointing you as secretary of defense. but as usual, you probably dont have a problem with this and will provide some extremely weak justification for this. i bet you would think differently if a disaster hit chicago and he was in charge of that. as a matter of fact i know your tune would change. you would want his head on a stick, as well as the person the appointed himmaybe you dont understand how politics work. friends are always given positions of power. you seem to think this is a new thing when bush started. bush was doing a photo opt with the cameras and tried to boost morale among the people in charge. you are way too blinded with hatred to think responsibly.
you know its funny. i never personally attacked you. but you continue to attack me because i strongly disagree with your uninformed misguided horseshit. you dont know what you are talking about, so deal with it. and have you seen a Bush plan that worked yet? keep looking, they are few and far betweenso would you be more upset if he had NO plan? ok then shut the fuck up
i wouldnt be so sure about that. especially since you support tax cuts during a time of war. which is a 3rd grade economics NO-NO... all i ever hear you say is that tax cuts benefit the economy. why dont you expand on that a little and explain how cutting bill gates taxes benefits the economy? let me guess, you think he is going to spend more? trickle down economics? hahahahahahahaha....... not to mention a quite a few of the countries wealthiest people completely disagree with you on this fact. but let me guess, you know more about economics then Warren Buffet right? :rolleyes:I know alot more about the economy then you ever will, trust me on that robin hood. tax cuts have great benefit to the economy.
blocking stem cell research is not a moral issue. it is a 14th century attack on science. it is one of the more disgusting policies of this fundamental christian president. the way medical advancements are being delayed are absolutely disgusting. i am also going to guess you dont know a fucking thing about this either...you never talked to anyone in the medical or scientific field about this? feel free to ask just 1 of them, and then tell them it is a moral issue. it is only a moral issure for the fundamental christians that have hijacked my country, the same people you continue to make excuses for. it is not a moral issue for the large majority of americans. having a father that died of cancer, it strikes at me personally. cures could be developed for some of the worst diseases and injuries we deal with. but close minded cosk suckers continue to delay much needed advancement draped under the shadow of the bible. and then they get uninformed people like you to repeat thier bullshit propaganda. seriously, do some research on this. it may save your life one day, or one of your family membersits a morale issue. some actually disagree with your shit. learn to accept that.
do you have any clue what the Patriot Act entails? because after this statement it is obvious you are completely clueless. please tell me what you know about the patriot act, and then maybe i can change your mind on that original statementI'm still as free as the day I was born.
same as i ever was, jus calling you on your obvious bullshit which you cant handle. not my problem chief. either educate yourself on the issues of our time, or coninue to argue ridiculous points and get called out on them. (edit, because some folks can dish it but cant take it)dude what is it with you? you used to actually be cool. must be difficult to live with such a small cock.
never said i was. but i am going to call you on your bullshit when it is obvious you dont know what you are talking about. or you try to justify torture or explain away the disasters of this administartion.you are not better then me, remember that.0 -

the funny this jlew is that you still wont admit that waterboarding is torture. even though the entire international community says it is. the USA says it is. and people have been prosecuted for war crimes for using water torture. plenty of information has been provided in this thread clearly so you should have no doubts?
can you at least admit that waterboarding is torture?0 -

nice edit on your post. dont mention my mom again, go it?
and yes waterboarding may be torture but its borderline at best. most if not all, stand up and walk away from it. and I would only agree it be used in very very extreme cases to help gather information that can save millions.0 -

amazing, just fucking amazing
At some point everyone hands over some of their freedom. it does not matter if it is a false sense of security in your opinion. all that matters is that the person handing over some of their liberty does not feel that it is false. you can't call those people cowards.People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid."

I'm getting at jlew, that everything you write in this board is a port from a newspaper or news channel. What part don't you understand.
I am not saying extreme people do not exist what i am saying is stop believing that most muslims are bad people who hate you and want to kill you, you think they don't have more important things to worry about in life than americans and how they live there life.Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

1. you have continued to personally attack me throughout this thread. "immature, uneducated, small cock, etc, etc, etc"... which honestly i dont care and dont mind and some of it is actually funny, but dont get your panties in a bunch when i fire back my friend. as they say, if you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen.jlew24asu wrote:nice edit on your post. dont mention my mom again, go it?
2. do not threaten me ever again. next time you see me the only thing you are going to do is accept a beer from me. lighten the fuck up.and yes waterboarding may be torture but its borderline at best. most if not all, stand up and walk away from it. and I would only agree it be used in very very extreme cases to help gather information that can save millions.
here we go again? you just cant admit it can you? even with overwhelming evidence right in front of you? this is why i cant debate with you, it is pointless. even when presented with overwhelming evidence you say it "may be" or that it is "borderline at best"???
i can put electrodes on your testicles and zap you for an hour, and you will be able to get up and walk away. not all toture has to result in death? is that the new american way of thinking? "well, it doesnt kill you"
i watched a US Navy Seal on the PBS national news the other night. he trained seals how to go through it and performed it on them and had it performed it on himself. he said without hesitation that it was absolutely TORTORE, nothing borderline about it. but again, i guess you would argue with a navy Seal that is is borderline

they must be smart people then cuz I barely ever watch the news or read newspapers. I form my own opinions through life experience, much like that rest of us.spiral out wrote:I'm getting at jlew, that everything you write in this board is a port from a newspaper or news channel. wow, where did I say "most" muslims? read the rest of the thread and stop poking your head in for one of my posts.
all I was saying is that there is a conservative side to Islam that hates the things we value most here in the west. that is a 100% true statement.0 -

Here in lies the problem. Waterboarding is designated as torture. Whether a person survives that torture is not the issue. That fact that torture was used is the issue.
Bush in all his stupid arrogance stood before America and the media world and stated that the U.S. does not torture. We know for a fact that the U.S. has used waterboarding to extract information. We know for a fact that the U.S. has round up suspected people and shipped them to secret prisons around the world for the purpose of "extracting" information. The problem created is that Bush has compromised the Office of the President and the U.S. Constitution because he created a situation where no U.S. Attorney General can knowingly acknowledge waterboarding as a method of torture without subjecting the Office of the President of the United States to crimes against humanity and war crimes.SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.0 -

if more inhumane techniques were used I would have more of a problem with it. (breaking bones, cutting off fingers/hands, beatings) and the fact that we have used waterboarding in the past does bother me. but I can understand why its used. honestly, I hope it never happens again.0 -

I did watch it. and I'm more against waterboarding because it doesnt seem to result in good useful information. if it did, I would be all for it.0 -
