    I would agree that radical islam is a problem and definitely something that I do not agree with. Although radicalism comes from oppression without a doubt. I do not support the IRA in any way shape or form but I can certainly empathise and understand why some of them may have thought they'd no other choice. On ALL sides, I can see how somebody might be pushed too far and feel they can ONLY resort to violence. But I certainly don't think one side is better than the other cos their side has the US and its money behind them.

    Unfortunately, radical Islam is not only a problem in Israel, but all over the world. Look at what happened when a comic of Mohhamad was published. Wacky people!

    Oh, I don't agree with the reaction to the cartoon, but then I'm not a particularly religious man. But blaming radical Islam for all the problems in the Middle East, and then sitting back and just saying "wacky people", rather than looking at what drives them to their extremism, solves nothing.

    I told you what drives them to such extremes.....a radical interpretation of Islam, which states that believers should kill all non-believers. I believe Mr. Van Gogh paid the ultimate price as a result of this fanaticism.

    But not every Muslim is an extremist - so what drives certain Muslims to turn to a radical interpretation? Some are, no doubt, bat-shit crazy - just like any radicals you have, in any country.

    But maybe some feel they have nothing left to turn to.
