Horrible tragedy...thoughts go out to the families of the victims.

Soldiers dieing in war should not be made light of anyways, and making light of kids getting gunned down at school is a million times more shocking. You seem like a cool guy dunk, I just hope to god you're either drunk or out of your mind right now and that deep down you really have some compassion.
Death is death. It's like making light of me coming here and posting that my grandma died, and then saying, so what, old people die everyday. NIU hits a little home for me. I have many best friends who went there, and I used to visit it frequently in college.
I don't think that he was making light of anything. These shootings are so commonplace these days and nothing is ever even attempted to curb the access to guns that anybody who is not directly affected by the shooting becomes jaded by the whole thing. I remember feeling all pissed off over Columbine and hearing about it affected me immensely. When I heard about this latest shooting, I didn't even pause on my way through the channels on my way to the next Simpons rerun. I was much more disturbed by Richard Zednik having his carotid artery slashed by a hockey skate the other night. Isn't that fucking crazy?1/12/1879, 4/8/1156, 2/6/1977, who gives a shit, ...0 -

Well, like it or not it is (or atleast should be). But I guess attempting to DISCUSS why this occurs is inappropriate according to you.0 -

All the best to the victims, last I read there were no fatalities so let's hope everyone keeps getting better in hospital.
Gun control does not stop crime, it increases it. Ask Australia, where all guns are banned and crime has increased by 200%.PEARL JAM~Lubbock, TX. 10~18~00

Gun control only takes guns away from law abiding citizens, the criminals keep theirs. Why don't you research it, I already have and I don't feel a need to prove everything I post on here. If you don't believe me look it up, you might be surprised.PEARL JAM~Lubbock, TX. 10~18~00

I see no evidence that you have. How about your provide some sources rather than simply muddying the water with misinformation?0 -
I grew up about 30 mins away from NIU and hung out/partied their often before I went to college myself (not there)...
Anyways, it's fuckin' sick that this shit happens! I'm just so fuckin' sick of hearing of all these fuckin' nutbags out there going crazy on the public because they have issues and easy access to guns...
I'm fucking sick of it!0 -

all these people, shoot innocent victims then turning the gun on themselves....why don't these assholes START by killing themselves? We need a reverse suicide hotline.
