no you wouldnt, i dont think. this is a pretty textbook case of oedipal complex in action. i thought i was disdainful towards women, but he makes me feel like gloria steinem.
hehe! Well thanks for saying so ss. I was starting to feel like a rampant, lesbian feminist and misandrist. (learned that one on the Oppressive Female Regimes thread!! )
I don't get that you are disdainful toward women.
Most of the stuff you post about women and women's issues makes sense to me and seems relatively balanced.

im just a bit of a cynic and jaded about women with respect to relationships. and some women get offended when i speak in generalities about female behavior. it's all based on sociology, but sometimes they flip up saying "you can't label all women like that!" and of course, i never would. but i still notice trends and like to hedge my bets based on the odds. then they get into men and say "what if i said men are XYZ" and i say "you'd be right." only thing is, i rarely talk about what men are doing cos im not trying to get laid by them
in any case, glad you think im not wildly inappropriate. the consensus seems to disagree. though i guess my political views of women are a bit more palatable than my relationship views of them.
however, before you all start to think im some sort of touchy-feely feminist, i feel compelled to admit that i still think watching women play any sport but tennis is about as exciting as the waiting room at the dentist's office.
i guess my political views of women are a bit more palatable than my relationship views of them.
Hahaha ... truer words were never spoken!
That's ok though. Since we're never going to have a relationship, but you probably will wind up in politics, the political views are all that matter to me. The rest is your gf's problem ... may she be blessed with great strength and patience

or a fist of iron in general my views of relationships are as cynical as they come... for men or women. like i said though, i only talk about the women cos im not getting screwed by the men, literally or figuratively.

hehe!! Well that sounds pretty human to me ss.
I think we all make these generalizations when we are feeling cynical and jaded. And you're right it is about sociology.
At least you seem to recognize how out and out misogyny is not a leg opener.
Pretty smart as far as I can see.
in any case, glad you think im not wildly inappropriate. the consensus seems to disagree. though i guess my political views of women are a bit more palatable than my relationship views of them.
I think your political views are very humanist and evenly presented.
Relationships are bloody hard work ss. For both partners.
And damn frustrating a lot of the time.
It's not that hard to become fed up with the whole thing. Especially when you are doing your best and it doesn't seem to be working. Compound that a few times and yeah, it's hard to remain optimistic.
however, before you all start to think im some sort of touchy-feely feminist, i feel compelled to admit that i still think watching women play any sport but tennis is about as exciting as the waiting room at the dentist's office.
That thread was a joke, and that was pretty obvious. You didn't see that because you have a personal hatred for me. Which is why you responded to my post in this thread the way you did. I don't know what else to say to you, because you are totally narrow-minded and ignorant. I didn't see any statistics you posted and the statistics I posted were from Statistics Canada and we were talking about Ontario specifically, so therefor I am right and your just grasping to bullshit to push your ideological sexist view.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

There you go projecting again. Are you incapable of comprehension?
For starters, I don't hate anyone. Secondly even supposing I could be bothered hating someone it wouldn't be you. I don't care that much.
Actually now that you appear to be behaving like a total prick and calling names, perhaps I can't even be bothered responding other than to degenerate this to a pathetic slanging match further by saying that obviously you are delusional and clearly my comment about your oedipal complex hit the mark. Perhaps when you have a clear head, IF you ever have a clear head you might have the emotional maturity to go back and read what I actually said and stop projecting your twisted shit onto my words.
But that aint gonna happen is it? Because it's far more satisfying for you to crap on endlessly with this bunk because you are bored and and you just love being mean to people. Good luck with that.

Actually as you just admitted, you started with the 'name calling'. Days before I've said anything. You are always pushing this bad image of men. All I do is push back. I push back on anyone I see telling lies and it happens all the time on here. I speak truth and people get pissed off. Why? Because it's not what you want to believe, it's not comforting and it doesn't fit into your version of reality. But it is reality, regardless of what you believe.
I interpret the events of Iran to be far more complex than simply "See, look, women are still being oppressed all over the world!" that kind of shit to me is a waste of fucking breath. All your doing is looking for an opportunity to spit that shit out and your not even thinking about what it actually means.

Like pretty much every body else around here, I can't be bothered with you.
You believe whatever you damn well like about me.
You're wrong but I don't really give a shit anyway. There are far more important things to do in this world than help you onto your soapbox.

...think Ahnimus and Jeanie would make a good couple....

i've never seen her push a bad image of men.
Of course not, you live your life by stereotypes.
i live my life by reality, not the laboratory.
haha, what a joke.
It'd be a challenge to see who's head explodes first.
