just talked to laura, and she was up on her feet today! the antibiotics cleared out the pneumonia, and things are looking much, much better.
she says she can't wait to get home and reply to this thread. saturday, maybe?
Hippiemom and Steppenwolf, I don't know you but by the board. We haven't always seen eye to eye, but that doesn't matter one bit when it comes to a personal thing like this. I wish you both the best and a strong recovery for Laura. Prayers for her....

I don't post much here (if at all), but I've been reading a lot of the posts on here, and I just want to say; thank you.
I've learned a lot from you (and others on this board), and the way you debate and the way you see different aspects of different problems have always amazed me.

I'm really glad she's getting better. I don't know her at all, but -as I've said before- from her posts I realize she's an amazing woman and I'm trully happy she's recovering. My best for her and her loved ones!!! Looking forward to reading her again

Hippiemom always had the right thing to say and always represented a maternal, loving, yet critical point of view that made me think twice about all teh assumptions i operated with!
i don't post on the MT much because i'm not good with arguing but i've done my fair share of lurking.
hippiemom has always been such a strong presence on the MT and the Message Pit in general. I knew something was feeling a little off...it was because she wasn't around.
Hippiemom, please get well soon and bless the Message Pit with your presence!
