if this current Iraq war is so important to our way of lives, and our freedom. If it truly is the greatest fight of good and evil of the 21st century. If this war of for the spread of freedom and democracy. If it truly is a great mission that must be completed and held to the highest honor, then why the fuck havent the president's 2 daughters signed up to serve in the armed forces?
this war is bullshit, and everyone knows it, they just wont fucking admit it.
and if "God" told Bush to invade Iraq, and he feels it is the noblest of causes, then why have his own children NOT signed on the dotted line? because it is all fucking bullshit and they know it. so they would rather send your and my families into the line of fire so that american corporate interests can seize valuable natural resources, while at the same time the militray-industrial-complex can steal our wealth all in the name of "war" and "national defense", and "freedom".
wake up and smell the coffee, they do not care about you, they do not care about "our" country, and they do not care about iraq's "freedom". we are simply a tool they manipulate to execute their plan.
next time you think this war is "noble", "just", or "we got rid of sadaam" please just remember the architects of this war's children are at home on the couch watching CNN while our friends and family members are being shredded by an IED.
*end of rant*

It's not a war.
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
Let's see, Hamas was democratically elected and the U.S. is funding Fatas $85 mil.
Is that the spread of democracy?
Their women for christsake! No one asked For Chelsea to go when Clinton went into kosovo or hit targets inside iraq.
it's like the question of democracy here...it's the administration of the "democracy" and how officials "get" votes to become leaders of that "democracy."

I did. It would have done her some good.
Oh great, just one more babysitting duty our troops would have to perform. Like guarding all the VIP visitors, press and entertainers, who parade back and forth, in and out of Iraq UNHARMED while soldiers continue to try not to get killed. Isn't this enough responsibility?
Just resolve yourself to the fact that we need soldiers not barhoppers and you'll be ok with the SS having babysitting duties. At least they were kind enough to alert America how easy it is to get fake IDs. More importantly, they wear underwear.
How can they have what they have if they have no clue?

One, like mentioned above, they would have to have a full detail protecting them. Could you imagine the implications if one of them was kidnapped? Any father would do whatever they could to get their daughter back safely, our whole country would be held ransom.

That line there, just says the great old US of A is run by a lunatic.
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.
Yes because he never consults with his cabinet at all!
Of course as you have selective memory. Or maybe just brain washed.

I'm not attempting to suggest that a President should use the military with anything less than the highest precautions, but to suggest that he should just ship his daughters to the Middle East is kinda silly. They would have to volunteer, it would have to be their decision, just like everyone else who is over there.

palestinians are much worse
subjective, balanced opinion as always...

i'm just brainwashed.
Bush was speaking to Palestinian ministers. It's not like this was in the state of the union address. if it was i'd be concerned.
........................
"And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, "Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East." And by God I'm gonna do it.'"
Iraq was a fuck up, I get it. but is this statement crazy? I'm glad God told him to do this. hopefully it will happen.
yeah right...
I do actually try and see both sides... there is another side you know...

You speak as though you are an expert on the subject. Remind me to come to you if i ever decide to write a dissertation on the Middle East.
The state of the union address? You mean that annual address where he once spoke of 'The Axis of Evil'?
well, when you "pray for guidance" your actions are attributed to the guidance "received." so, whether he said "god told me to..." exactly or not...i can imply from a collection of statements that he believes, or wants us to believe, that his guidance towards this situation came/comes from "God."
