You have the right to express that you think he exists, and I have the right to express my thoughts against that. Ed can say whatever he wants. I'm left wing, but I certainly wouldn't boo anyone at a concert if they supported the president. If you don't like it, turn it off!

    Ah ha! Addiction!

You should really think about using your option of resigning the office of motherhood. I'm afraid there are no apologies acceptable for these types of actions.

    Think of your children please.

  • The real issue here is how have her children been affected by countless lost night due to their mother being at Pearl Jam concerts doing God knows what. She may have even been drunk....... Yes. Drunk.

Can you explain these allegations hippiemom?

I'm a tool. Sarcasm is hard to detect over the net.

  • Haha, I'm gonna defend hippiemom. I'm gonna assume you have kids. How have YOUR children been affected countless nights when YOU'RE at a church function of some sort!

    I don't have children. I don't attend church.

    :D

It's a little late for that. My "baby" is going to be 18 in four months, the other one is 25. And based on how they've turned out, I have to say that I must be a great mom :)

I'm not real sure. I'm a staunch Republican and I didn't really give a shit what he talked about at Camden. I was just happy as hell to be there and thankful I got to listen to them live. The music is enough to carry me off anyway.

Most of his rants on the live cds I find just humorous anyway.

exactly, i'm just stoked to get to see them. oh, and the dc comment about dick cheney leading into his "theme song" was absolutely hilarious. I vote republican most times but you have to learn to laugh at things.

Let's not forget that Ed is an equal-opportunity ranter. He bitched about Clinton too. He seems to not be a big fan of unnecessary loss of life, or of people behaving as though others were put on earth to help them get rich. I don't think either of those are partisan positions.

Hi. Like the rest of you all I love PJ more then any other band. McCreedy is one badass giutarist and Eddie has one of the best voice's around.
But I'll say it out loud right now: the politic's of the band upset me. Why does Eddie just piss an moan all the time? why cant he jus shut up and sing, it what he's payed to do. How do you think Mike and Jeff and Stone feel about hearing him jus chat shit night after night. I bet they get pissed to.
Some of the songs piss me of too. On the new album its all about politic's, marker in sand is great but the words upset me. Being Christian hearing Eddie talk nieevely about God is offencive to me.On Worldwide Suicide too. why is Bush paying checks? what's he talking about.

I don't post much but are their any other repub/christian fans out there? how do you feel about youre favorite band being so disrespecful to youre nation?

I don't know what I'd do if I was at a concert and they play'd Bush Leager. ???

im offended by your inability to grasp the english language. ill give your views some credence when you show you're educated to an 8th grade level.

That's what Im talkin about.Who ever is the president he's alway's bein critical.I mean cmon I love his music and stuff but all he seem's to do is complain about America.
    I’d thank my lucky stars,
    to be livin here today.

And I’m proud to be an American,

Man, it's been a while since I read someone's musings on what the other members of the band think.
I'll bet Mike agrees with me.
I heard Jeff's Catholic, so he, like, totally hates Eddie's crap.
And so on. By the way, Stone cowrote Bushleaguer.

Honestly, what would you rather the band (yes, band) write songs about? Hot babes and tax cuts? Boots and asses?

Yeah that whole Enron thing was made up...

Also whoever noted people booing Bushleaguer in Chicago 2003, I'm sorry to say that didn't happen. I was there and while I'm sure *some* people booed, I heard a vast majority of applause for the song
