    Interesting to note the people lacking compassion, or showing aggression in this thread. How obvious can you make it that there is something not right with the picture i.e. slight personality disorder for lack of a better term?

    and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
    over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    that's why I wanted to know specific examples... and I've got some now so I can understand more where people are coming from. Before that I thought it was just a case of maybe people being assholes and the recipient being overly sensitive. Now I can see there is more to it than that. However we all have a responsibility to ourselves to be careful about what details we give out... and about giving out personal information. If you're receiving a threat that you perceive to be real, well that's as wrong as it is in real life and so you must report that first to the mods and, if you feel it's dangerous, then to the police.
